- This Monte Carlo came back for a Magnuson 2650 Supercharger to be installed on its 408ci LS Swap. We installed a trans brake in the 4l80e transmission that still retains the automatic shifting.

Can you use the the dirty dingo low mount ac bracket setup with the mini ac which hugs the block pretty tight in a g body without having to notch anything

Not a chance. You will have 6k in just parts.
I have a Monte Carlo ss 88 I want this same set up , if I use a 2 inch cowl hood would that clear everything to close it so I don’t have to modify it or have to cut the hood to fit the magnuson in there ?
You are going to need bigger than 2 inch. The place were you run out of room is up front. The snout is way up there. A 2” would work if it wasn’t for that

You typically have 10-11k in additional parts labor and tuning to complete a swap

Where are you located
What radiator do you recommend for the g bodys with higher horsepower and forced induction?
We use a lot of norther radiators. Look for something with large rows not the amount of rows.
Will that blower fit on an LS 2 or a LQ4

does magnason supercharger require dish or flat top pistons
The supercharger doesn’t care what pistons are in the engine but you would want a dished piston to lower the compression
What better to install 4l80e or 6l80e
I am more of a fan of the 4l80e
4l80e in a car/high performance, 6l80e in a towing/heavy duty/mpg situation imo

The 6l is a popular choice. Any 2500 silverado, yukon or escalade will do

If I recall it was around 10:1 and TFS heads

Just the engine or a complete swap? If you are talking about the entire swap, roughly $45k installed.
