Been playing catch up on your channel the last few days and very glad I did...Croatia looks like one of those special destinations you never forget...I think I'm going to have to give it a visit! Thanks.
Croatia looks beautiful. I would have taken more days off to sunbath & swim. Funny how every time your step dad goes fast you say he needs a poo 🤦♂️ you need a jacket that vents but is easy to close on the move in rain. Great stuff. Croatia on the list now.
@@AndyManCam All desperate to tour again. I'm watching quite a few old touring videos but I appreciate they don't get those all important RUclips views the latest bike reviews get. Can't beat that AMC theme tune!!!!!!
😘 The repeat enjoyment more than makes up for it! The reviews get good hits and then drop off as soon as the next shiny thing comes along! But folks always want to go touring! 😁
Im nearly three years late, but what a great series. Excellent work editing as well. Croatia on a motorbike (especially mine) probably isn't in the cards for me so this is probably as close as I will get. Thanks again.
An absolute pleasure to watch, amazing footage great roads and scenery. just love to list to people talk about something or nothing in these motorcycle touring videos. Even more excited for our pico's return in MAY, 12 of us carnage. cheers Andy look foreword to some more AMC Vlogs
Cheers! Sorry about the lack of train footage. Sadly it was so tight and full of people, I was too shy to get the camera out! Imagine one of those lorries thy transport pigs in, but less ventilation!
Fantastic! Bravo! (applause) So sad to see the end of this trip, Croatia was amazing. Your hard work making these most captivating videos is so greatly appreciated and enjoyed. :-)
Thanks Andy for a thoroughly entertaining series... Croatia eh, who would have thought it... I appreciate the hard work that goes into the making of these, and once again thank you for it. Ride safe.
Brilliant series! I'm currently based in salzburg and am lucky enough to holiday in croatia each year. Although i haven't yet found the time to get down there on my bike. Must pencil that in before the summer! Great work!
Andy - have at last caught up with all the Croatia vids (sorry bit late tut tut ) an amazing series of films, loved every one of them and looks like an incredible place to visit. Appreciate the effort you clearly put into these and of course will be looking forward to the next series. Cheers.
What a great series to watch, The editing would’ve been a headache for sure. You have shown some awesome counties and places I really liked Croatia it looked great. Thanks so much Andy. RSM8
Lovely series, thanks - smashed it over the past couple of evenings. Croatia is on the bucket list. Those shots of you getting on the night jet...we took the one from Dusseldorf to Innsbruck last year...how many scalps have those things taken?
Thanks very much mate. I commend your use of your time! 😉 I'd hate to think how many scraped helmet tops have those trains to thank! Maybe the odd broken visor, for the particularly inept!
another great series of films andy . will be going to croatia at some point after watching this. i am off to switzerland middle of august ,cant wait just hope the weather stays good. thanks
Brilliantly done yet again mate. Loved the whole 12 Monkeys time travel bit about the (Herculean) editing at the end....& I would sympathise with you about the minor drencing, but pretty much you ran up to the rain gods, poked your tongue out at them, then showed them your bot bot & ran away! So you kinda asked for it ;) A most enjoyable series Mr Man. Cheers!
Cracking tour series Andy. Thoroughly enjoyed it, and a little disappointed it's over. Thought you'd finally lost the plot there at the beginning when you started singing the "roadworks song" ... too many miles in the heat! Lol! Geographical factoid of the day... Penrith is in Cumbria. Or is was when i was there last September! Anyways, looking forward to your next series of motorbikin' adventures. Ride safe... :-D
I think you could be right mate. As I showed her indoors, she physically moved away from me during that song! :D Bugger. I've shown my geographical dunce status once again! Next you'll be telling me Skegness isn't in Scotland....
I’ve been reviewing the Croatia footage and I think it’s been some of your better work! The subject matter has been really photogenic and the content and commentary interesting and informative, (Even on the second viewing). Thank you very much! Onward and upward to even greater projects.
Thanks Gunnar! Phils Spain trip was great and I'd definitely like to go down there again and see more of the Pyrenees and the Picos. Who knows what could happen this year!
Hello Andy. Really nice tour you made in Croatia. Thank you for this last thriller " the escape of DAS GEWITTER" with great atmospheric music. It was really terrifying.... I am very curious where you go on your next tour. Can't stand this anxiety! Maybe you can give us loyal followers some kind of hint? Thank you and up to your next Tour !
Suberb series again, thank you for all your time and hard work 👍 In my opinion you still have way to little subscribers for this amazing channel. Just a suggestion, i discovered you many moons ago, as you were reviewing a bike i eventually bought (yamaha tracer), maybe if you done more reviews this summer it might give more people a chance to also discover your brilliant channel. You deserve it and people deserve to know what they are missing.
Thanks very much mate. Thankfully you're apparently not alone with that opinion, so hopefully it'll keep building! I did notice a real surge in Subs after I did the batch of reviews a while back. I'll have to see what I can rustle up this year as hopefully I'll have a little more time than last. Cheers!
Must agree Croatia looks brilliant. Great work as usual mr mancam. Had a look at your other channel wow very polished tonsils you have. Do you know of sean rowe song (leave something behind ) ? Wonder what your golden tonsils could to that song. Thanks for the vids mate.
Great tour Andy! Sad to see the end of it really. Looking forward to seeing where you go next time and seeing what the new bike's like. Have you managed to get out on it much yet?
What a shame it's reached an end but I guess all Things reach an end at some time. I really enjoyed the whole series thank you for sharing this with us. Looking Forward to the next series and Tour where will you be going I wonder LOL ;-) ride safe mate.
Sadly all things come to an end. But every end is a new beginning, and all that! Looking forward to the next trip too. Should be a good'un. If I remember to ride on the left! ;D
Awesome Series, looking forward to the next tour... my vote goes to either head north into scandinavia or go directly east into czech republic/poland/latvia etc. You mentioned in the video that you would "love to have a project like that" regarding the old car by the side of the road. Have you through about maybe doing a project bike for the channel? Maybe something german like an MZ, Simon or BMW? (I am biased towards the MZ's, currently restoring 2 of them at the moment.)
Thanks Andrew! Scandinavia is definitely top of my list currently. Just waiting for the finances and opportunity to come together at the same time! 😁 I actually have often though about a project bike. And it just so happens that i might have sorted out a much better garage with a bit more space and some privacy. So who knows. Maybe if i find something worth working on...
He has the Zumo 595lm. I think he's very happy with it. Having seen how backwards and stupid some of the routes it threw up were, I'M not so happy though!! :D Ignorance is bliss I suppose.
Speaking of the 595LM, I just discovered the Garmin web pages states that it can download "live weather radar" via a smartphone app: buy.garmin.com/en-US/US/p/536397
I've got an Interphone F5-XT. it's not the best and it's a bit clunky but it mostly works OK and is was cheaper than all the others. If you can find it, that is. It's quite old now!
I'll never trust the zug again, on our trip to Croatia last year the train failed to turn up at Düsseldorf and as a consequence our holiday was ruined, we salvaged it by running the Romantic route it was fantastic, still fighting for combo from the Duetchesbahn. Great vids miss Germany
Andy Man Cam, another super serie tour ;) Congrats! If you come to switzerland on the next tour, let me know. let me ask you about your Nishua: Does the pike make turbulence, or has good aerodynamics? I´m hesitant to buy this helmet.... Ride Safe & continues to give us these good moments of entertainment :D :D
Thanks! The Nishua is fine up to about 110km/h. After that it's still ok until you turn your head. Then the peak catches the wind which is a bit tough on the neck and it makes a load roaring sound. Luckily you get extra fixings so that you can take the peak off if you're going on the motorway. Otherwise, I find it really quite quiet.
Great footage as always Andy. Must be a right pain stripping all that camera gear off the bike whenever you go walkabout though. I note you didn't use your Easypix GoXtreme 360 Camera much on this trip. I'm guessing perhaps you weren't overly impressed with the footage it produces as it's not really on a par with the Sony output. Maybe one day the Garmin VIRB 360 will be more affordable as for bike touring, it's looks ideal, possibly even as a 'one cam catch it all' solution. Anyway, looking forward to your next outing. Maybe The Dolomites ???
Cheers Mike. It was always a bit of a faff TBH! But that'S part of what we do. I had to give the 360 Camera back to Easypix after the test. Also you're right that the footage wasn't overly impressive. ALso the 360 videos just weren't (and continue not to be) very popular. Will have to see if any of the manufacturers want to work with me as funds for investment are LOW! :D
Lower than this (just bought one myself as hate taking my eyes off the road when trying to capture that perfect scene off to the side)? www.amazon.co.uk/Samsung-Gear-360-Camera-Version-White/dp/B01M4J53CO/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1522248073&sr=8-3&keywords=samsung+gear+360&dpID=31LF9wcJrgL&preST=_SX300_QL70_&dpSrc=srch
Okay. That was great. Glad you went through Schlag. My ex wife came from there. At least I think she did. I often told her she was a born a schlag. When you said you circumcised the storm I cracked up. It also reminded me of an Ann Diamond and Jockey, Willy Carson, interview on Breakfast TV years ago. Which you may be old enough to remember, but just in case... She finished the interview and said, "Have you got a tip Mr Carson?" -- Ann was nothing if not formal -- Quick as a flash he said, "No Ann. I'm Jewish." Her co-host, Bill Turnbull almost had a heart attack trying not to laugh and failing but Ann Diamond, proving that you don't have to be smart to work on TV, said, "Oh are you? I didn't know that. Do you take your faith seriously?" They cut to the weather girl -- may have been Wincy-sodding-Willis -- but you could hear Carson, Bill Turnbull and a couple of cameramen almost dying in the background. Willis was a picture of confusion. I spent ten minutes trying to get the mouthful of Cornflakes I had spat over the fridge door and the Spaniel, off again. Anyway..... Great trip Andy. Have you though about heading south to the French Riviera? Some fantastic scenery and weather down there; a mountain or two to play with and you could even ride one of the greatest Formula One routes in the world. I would do that very late at night personally, but I like night riding. It's not everyone's cup of tea and I understand about the filming problem. Looking forwards to the next one. Thanks also to the folks for being there for you.
Hahahaha! You don't get live and close the bone humour like that any more. Not in our new world of everybody being in a constantly pre-offended state. Shame. I went to the Riviera on my very first touring trip, 2 up on a Kwak ER-5. Fond memories of the beginning of a beautiful relationship. With touring, not the girl.
Andrew, man, the camera. I do hope you get around to getting some textiles for touring in the far future. It'll be more boring, but such is life as one learns and ages.
I'm not overly keen on Textiles TBH. I had a Frank Thomas 2-piece in my first year of biking, and never really felt all that safe. And given the fact that I've been off a few times recently, textiles would have likely been written off each time. I get the weather benefits completely, but I've learned that not planning to fall off and not falling off are two very independent concepts!
Or... you get a Kawasaki KLR 650 on the cheap. Nothing fancy, but they get the job done and are easy to service in the middle of nowhere (I used to have one). The Suzuki DR650 is another candidate.
I know this nonsense, work very well after a road trip. every time i went on a motorcycle vacation i only drove back at the last moment, so i drove the last 1500 km in one stretch, got off the motorcycle and rode to work.... more than once :-)
Of course!! You win front row seats to the next series! You just have to wait til autumn to see it..... Norway and Iceland sounds great!! Might need some nobbly tires for the FZ1 though!!
My mate did from Croatia (Lives in Croatia) to Iceland saw his posts looks brill if its not raining! No roadworks lol and being in "Chus" town your a lot nearer... Look forward to the next fafftastic adventure. Cheers Steve
Think of all the extra videos you could do . Andy Man Cam installs Geiger counter on handle bars . Andy Man Cam installs portable decontamination shower . Andy Man Cam sports his new stylish radiation proof riding gear , Also you could do a video on cool knives and swords you might use to fend off any mutated beasts . Think of it Andy !
Been playing catch up on your channel the last few days and very glad I did...Croatia looks like one of those special destinations you never forget...I think I'm going to have to give it a visit! Thanks.
Cheers mate. Yep, Croatia certainly is that! It was utterly brilliant.
Another excellent tour over. Thanks, Andy. 😎
I'm glad you also managed to mitigate more marmot mangling mayhem. 😉
Many thanks Robin. I’m not sure i would have survived another Marmot jump! Barely got away with the last one!
Croatia looks beautiful. I would have taken more days off to sunbath & swim. Funny how every time your step dad goes fast you say he needs a poo 🤦♂️ you need a jacket that vents but is easy to close on the move in rain. Great stuff. Croatia on the list now.
It was amazing. I'd have loved to stop and sunbathe a bit more! Sadly time overall was tight. But if I went there again...
Just finished watching the series, for the third time. As good as the first time I saw it when it first came out. 👍
Thank you kindly dear chap. Honestly I’m amazed that folks are going back to the early stuff still!! 🥰

Thanks Will! Glad you enjoyed it!
Brilliant series AMC well done

Well done Andy, another top series of videos, glad this one was soooooo good, thanks to your folks for keeping you safe.
Thanks Phillip. It's going to be strange on the next tour to not have the folks there. Sounds weird from a grown man!! :D

I'm Jewish."
Her co-host, Bill Turnbull almost had a heart attack trying not to laugh and failing but Ann Diamond, proving that you don't have to be smart to work on TV, said, "Oh are you? I didn't know that. Do you take your faith seriously?"
They cut to the weather girl -- may have been Wincy-sodding-Willis -- but you could hear Carson, Bill Turnbull and a couple of cameramen almost dying in the background.
Andy Mans Cam Christmas Hits will be released in time for Christmas with the classic Give Me Roadworks 🚧 😂
Hahaha! This could be a winner! I’ll be resigning from my job by new year with the sales from this baby!!
😂😂😂😂 “she got dressed when she was twenty” hahahahah!
I felt a little bit mean about that one. But then she was mean for stealing her granddaughter's dress...
You confused the life out of me when you said your in Wales. If you said North of England it wouldn't have been as bad 😂😂
Haha! Yeah, I know that now! Not sure why I thought Wales. I'm even supposed to be half welsh by blood! :D
I get the weather benefits completely, but I've learned that not planning to fall off and not falling off are two very independent concepts!
fantabulous! :-)
Chears!!
Next?... You should go to Alaska and Western Canada. But first you need to get a proper ADV bike. Lots of gravely roads.
That would be AWESOME!! Might have to wait until BMW, Honda or KTM want to sponsor me for that one though!!
Or... you get a Kawasaki KLR 650 on the cheap. Nothing fancy, but they get the job done and are easy to service in the middle of nowhere (I used to have one). The Suzuki DR650 is another candidate.
Thanks andy
Cheers Simon.
Nope TMF is not coming over haha thought he was, so am I invited ? 😎
'fraid we've only got one bottle of beard spunk!
Yeeesss!
Cheersss!
Hey where’s my invite for this weekend - TPone & TMF coming over, and I have the weekend free????
TMF is coming over?! It's going to be cramped in our little tent?!
8:47 That's what SHE said
Haha! Luckily she was only talking about 1 section though. The rest is MASSIVE!
I know this nonsense, work very well after a road trip. every time i went on a motorcycle vacation i only drove back at the last moment, so i drove the last 1500 km in one stretch, got off the motorcycle and rode to work.... more than once :-)
That’s what us bikers are like. Make the trip as long as possible! Use every available second before real life starts again! 😂
Andy Man Cam arbeiten un sich das biken leisten zu können und jeden moment zu verlängern und zu genießen 😉
Genau das!
👍👍🇨🇦
I watched the entire series... do I win a prize? Next trip. Up to Norway then ferry to Iceland
Cheers
Steve
Hey Andy, I've got a new name for you.....
The RainGravitator!😂
Experience has taught me that it’s probably deserved!
@@AndyManCam 😂😂😂
I’m trying to remove the reputation, but it just keeps raining!
@@AndyManCam I love your humour, Andy!
Thanks! That’s lucky cos it’s the only one I’ve got! 😜
Hmmmm Croatia you say 😁
Yes indeedy I do. Brilliant!
@@AndyManCam 3k miles round trip and a dozen countries to boot... I can feel a plan forming
I had no idea Andy was Jewish until the point where he was discussing avoiding the storm.
Thought that maybe after a little snip, the storm might be less daunting! ;)
You ever considered a career in singing... no? Not surprised 0_o
Funny you should say that...
Chernobyl !
Wowzers! You really want to test me! At least the roads will be clear! Now whats the radiation protection level on this Vanucci leather 2-piece?....
Andy, I do love your vids, and you seem to be a likeable chap, but that rain/ roadworks song was awful. Please stop it.
Haha! Thanks mate. Yeah, I deserved that.
