Thanks for the great review. I have a Goldtop Flat Tracker and the quality is astonishing. I have indeed crash tested it when I was knocked off by a car (I had the optional back armour) and it saved me a lot of injury. It also has barely a scratch on it. It's like a suit of armour. Highly, highly recommended.
Good evening Des great to see you back on RUclips old friend I am actually in the process of looking for a new motorbike jacket I have a royal Enfield and love the classic look of the gold top could you tell me your chest measurements as I can see you’re a big lad like myself and didn’t want to get the wrong size if I was to purchase one cheers Des
Hiya buddy. My stats are in the vid mate towards the end. If you need to know anything else just ask. I too love the classic look and the Royal Enfields look truly fantastic and I love their iconic look. Before buying the Quad I'd actually shortlisted a 1200cc Triumph Scrambler.
Fantastic review - thank you! I am just not sure this longer style jacket would look OK on a shorter guy. I wasn't blessed with your genes - I am merely 5'7"...
Thanks so much buddy. You've got to remember that a smaller guy will require a smaller jacket and therefore everything ends up proportionate. Only you can decide but I certainly wouldn't cross it off the list. Personally, I don't think it would matter one bit mate. Surely, a purpose made longer jacket on a shorter guy will look the same in proportion to a taller guy such as myself? Really appreciate you dropping by my friend. ATB, Des
@@21stcenturycaveman33 Hi Des! Nice to hear from you! I just thought longer jackets in general don't look so great on us short guys. But you're right - if the proportions are OK perhaps the jacket won't emphasize height (or my lack of it) as longer coats often do. They have a nice discount on the 2022 model in gold - I have my eye on it...Also, I have been very impressed with their gloves and sweaters - very beautifully made - a top notch business to be sure.
Hiya buddy. I know the one you mean and it looks spectacular. Fpo the price it's a no brainer if that's your style. I really like some of the Belstaff lines but I think they're over priced. That said, I get frequent em's from them advising of heavy discounts, etc as I'm a subscriber to their website. I personally would never pay full price for their goods but would consider of heavily discounted and I actually needed the garment. Goldtop still better value for money though. Very best wishes, Des
Great to see you back on RUclips, we’ve all missed your videos
Thanks so much. Good to be back. Really appreciate you sticking by the channel. Best wishes, Des
That was a comprehensive review. I especially liked that you demonstrated everything so well. It’s a great company. All their gear looks fantastic!
Glad it was helpful! Best wishes, Des

Thanks very much. Very kind of you to say so buddy. Best wishes, Des

Given its unpleasant associations these days, I'd try not to use the phrase 'guys 'n gals'?
