I'm a big fan of Goldtop, the items they sell are high quality and have an attention to detail whether it be on their gloves, jackets or anything else they sell. I can second that they are nice people to deal with, all my interactions with them have been very positive. The jacket shown looks great on Paula and I think it's a good move to feature ladies motorcycling attire as well as gentlemans attire.

Its nice to see Paula modelling ladies bike gear. and also showcasing some of the great parts of Hull. I remember the Gold Top factory on Anlaby road. It looks like they are still producing great quality gear. Manufacturers are catching on to female riders now. Mrs H is finding this as my bank balance can testify. 😂
Yep, goldtop are great quality. I have a pair of leather winter gauntlets . They are ‘proper’ gloves, beautifully made and warm. Any biplane pilot would’ve been happy with them back in the day 😄. The staff were really helpful too, with advice on sizing ( I have big hands), and the fit was perfect. They even came with a pot of leather balm.
I’m a great believer in buying well and buying once, if you can ,and these will probably see me out. Even more of a bonus…they were a gift so didn’t cost a penny!

Love these easy to watch videos… I do believe that I purchased my Goldtop Motorcycle gloves after watching 1 of your reviews many years ago & are still my favourite to this Day. Love the fact that Paula is riding along with you. 😎 Got to admit that I’m slightly envious of the weather there at the moment as I’m away for the week in North Yorkshire & it’s done nothing but rain!
When i started my motorcycling way way back in 1980. I got a lovely pair leather gloves with lambwool lining. They were great. And i see gold top still make them .its great to see a quality company still there after all these years.

I have the blokes version of this and it’s the best motorcycle jacket I’ve ever owned. I own a couple of pairs of gloves, socks, jumpers and t shirts as well. All very well made quality products.

Hello again, Stu, My first leather jacket was a Gold Top, I bought it second hand from a mate in 1978, unfortunately due to my love of drinking beer, I grew out of it and I replaced it with a Wolf Leathers jacket. I gave the Gold Top jacket to my brother, unfortunately he had to bin it after his tom cat uninated on it.
Hull ! One of my favourite cities when I was a rep. I used to leave at 7am from home in Leics and get to Hull at 9am . Spent all day calling on businesses in Hull then last call was over the bridge to Barton on Humber then home for about 7.30 pm ! Happy days.
Good morning Stu and Paula. Another good video. Nice looking jacket too. My first proper bike boots were Gold tops. I don’t remember buying them, so guess I was given them. A good comfortable knee length boot but leaked like a sieve. Guess that’s why I was given them. Enjoying the new video format.

Goldtop: _started at Goldtop House on Anlaby Road, Hull_ They are now on the other side of the M11 to Stansted Airport. I do like their products.
Love Goldtop products real quality gear,will be getting a leather jacket soon as a birthday gift for myself! Am lucky live not to far from them so will be popping in to see them.

Goldtop products are really very good; I’ve got a Cafe Racer ‘76 jacket and the quality is superb. Same for their gloves and jumpers.
The T Shirts are great too - I had a white one that got stained. I couldn’t get it out, so I went all in and bleached it in a strong solution. The print was only slightly faded after hours in the soak. Looks nicely lived in now!
They’re nice people too; well worth a run to their shop if you can. Always a warm welcome in my experience.

Gold top have a great retail shop down by Bishops Stortford. They are very welcoming and it's a very cool place for bikers to hang out 👍
I would suggest a visit to HQ Goldtop just outside Stansted Mountfitchett. A fabulous building stocked with Goldtop leather and other Goldtop paraphernalia.
I hope they have improved the quality of the Velcro used on their gloves. The Velcro on my Goldtop Predator gloves are now failing. I must visit and show and tell.
If you Paula the British racing green jacket you could lose her in that plant shop. I thought she was going to put a hanging basket from your panniers at the end of the video Stu not sure I would like that upgrade. Nice Jacket

That is a really good looking jacket and is clearly very well made. How do leather jackets like this stand up to the British rain, do they have any sort of waterproofing?
you can treat them to repel water but they are not really a wet weather jacket
