#SENCO #FramingNailer #NailGun - Хобби
Brilliant presentation, thank you.
They've really put some thought into this nailer even the colour.
Thank you and you're welcome, we're glad you love our video!
They have really put some thought into making this and it is well built. Love the colour too 👍
Thank you for great video👍. You explained everything I would like to know about this
nailer.
Brilliant review!
great video loved all the information you shared thank you! I am looking to purchase the same nailer how do you like it so far?
Hi Tibby and greetings from Finland 🇫🇮 We have this nailgun at work and we love it 😊👍
Thanks for great presentation👍
Hi! Can you tell me what is the average payment for an carpenter / roofer in Finland?
@@mickaeladriano9337 Hi 👋
Average payment for good carpenter is 20eur/hour
What about working in łów teperatures?
Perhaps -5-10?
Hi Tibby, was looking at this Senco F-35XP Nailer, mid-Feb last year as was just about to build a 4M x 4M Garden Office for my neighbour with lots of 4x2 Timber for stud walls, noggin's etc. However it had just launched in USA Nov 2020 & wasn't easy to get hold of one in UK with Covid ruling. So opted for the Milwaukee M18FFN (First Fix Nailer) with two 5 Amp Fuel batteries instead. Have used it a lot since & never had a nail jam. Only negative is it's much heavier than a Paslode but positives (like the Senco), are no Gas Cartridges, it works in freezing temperatures & so far has been maintenance free. I use Viper Brand gavanised nails that are a lot cheaper than Paslode's. Interesting fact - Scott Brown (a New Zealand carpenter & RUclipsr) says that if you buy a First Fix Nailer in New Zealand (e.g.Hikoki/Metabo HPT, Milwaukee, Senco) they all have Rapid Fire/Bump mode "disabled".
Hi Rocky, thanks for your message and we understand it would have been difficult to get hold of some products with Covid ruling.
Glad you managed to at least get a nailer and finish off the project which sounds amazing!
Since using the Senco nailer I've also never had a nail jam and I'm loving it. It is also slightly heavier than other 1st fix nailers but it still feels well balanced and great to use. Gas is something from the past and this Senco and others have proven it's not needed. Gas causes so many complications and delays.
Thanks for the interesting fact I didn't know that. I wonder if other countries will follow 🤔
If you ever get a chance do check out this Senco nailer it would be interesting to hear your thoughts too 👍
Hi, what is a noggin?
I'm in u.s.
@@mrbmp09 Hi B Pace, Yep in US Stud Walls, noggin's are normally called Fire Blocks, Blocking or Bridging. In the UK Noggin's are used in 1st Fix to strengthen & stiffen between wall studs, floor joists & roof rafters. In walls, noggin's are fitted horizontally between two vertical wall studs and can help "straighten out" bent or twisted studs. They're also fitted in-between studs to provide a solid fixing for things like toilet cisterns or large TV's to screw to. In floor joists extra noggin's can be fitted to help carry the load & edges of heavy shower trays etc. & in roof rafters we fit two (top & bottom) to help support VELUX windows & Sky Lights. Hope that makes sense? 👍😀
Thanks for sharing. How are you getting on with it?
Excellent performance
Weight with battery please and do you have to use senco nails?
Hows the review now u have had it a while?? Considering this over the dewalt. Great videos mate.
I want to know more about the Senco too. Don't bother with the Dewalt, the flywheel is a pain if you forget to rev it up, and it jams like crazy. Temperamental junk, not what you expect from the yellow brand.
How good are in harder wood ? Like marine plywood, Dewalt has problem, doesn’t put the nail full inside
This Senco has enough power to go through marine plywood 👍
Why are there so few reviews about this framing gun? Seems like a decent gun from a great nailers company. Seems similar to Hikoki or Milwaukee battery nailers and I don't understand why no one compares them together.
i want to buy this. Does it take plastic wrapped nails or only paper?
Good question! I believe these are paper wrapped nails which are safer and cleaner during application. I'm not too sure if it is compatible with plastic wrapped nails 👍
💥What do you think about it’s power shooting a 3 inch nail.?? (7.62cm)
I ditched my dewalt nail gun and got my Senco around a year ago. Best move ever
Glad to hear you're also enjoying using the Senco 1st Fix Nailer. I've also got the 2nd Fix nailer which is equally good but we've not done a video on that one.
does instruction book say anything about nitrogen refilling process? metabo and Milwaukee nailers need to be refilled every few years.
I've not seen anything but I think it does have a pressure relief valve and easy-access refill port maybe for maintenance and probably makes refilling easy.
Something that I'll have a look into and we can reach out to Senco to find out a little bit more about this 👍
Looks like the Ridgid and Ryobi cordless nailers.
Missing price and weight info. So there is a gas component but you don’t change it ever? Looks like the visibility on the right is really limited? Must be where the gas piston is? Otherwise great review.
Would prefer a quick release unblocking mechanism but nice video thank you for sharing
I like paslode xp framing nailers, but this I heard is just bulky heavy as fuck
Drives a nail in a nano second?
To drive A 3" nail in a ns, it would have to travel 1/4 the SPEED OF LIGHT.
It looks very plasticy in places you don't want plastic
Senco- the best nailers with the worst rafter hooks... That should be there slogan
🤣 I don't use the rafter hooks that much but I see what you mean. They maybe big and bulky but they do the job 🤷♂️
