- This is full playthrough of Metro 2033 redux, gaining nearly all of the Moral Points en route through the game to get the Enlightened achievement, while at the same time grabbing all collectibles and most of the miscellaneous achievements on the way through. Timestamps for each mission are at the bottom of the description.
If you follow this video, and use a couple of checkpoints in the game to knock out the weapon achievements (one of which is in this video, and the other is in my 'easy kills achievements' video), you should have all achievements except for Hedge Hopper, Spartan 2033, and possibly Who Goes There by the end. Just wipe your mask 20 times for that last one, meaning you'll only have two achievements left after this playthrough with the checkpoint reloads. I neglect to do it in the video because I was saving that achievement to complete both the retail and digital versions on the same day.

I had RUclips remove a couple of areas where stupid 3rd party copyright claims were put on my video because of in-game music. This unfortunately cuts out ALL audio, including voices. Seems I really need to just disable the music in games completely from now on. I don't know what they're on about, nobody watches these videos for the damn music.

If you use my last light one, I will warn you that two missions are out of order (reversed I believe), but there are time stamps in the description so you can warp to the proper mission. They got flipped when I was compiling everything together, and unfortunately I didn't notice it until someone pointed it out, and had since lost the original footage. Trying to pull the youtube video down to re-edit it would destroy what little video quality it has (uploaded at 720p IIRC). Hope it helps though, if you decide to use it!

Just a word of advice: On the "Cursed Station" level, you can actually avoid most of the Nosalises by hugging the walls, and they won't actually end up attacking you (most of the time, sometimes they'll still attack you but not as often as if you shot them on sight) Edit: another tip: at 1:01:18 you can actually buy a Hellbreath as well to work towards weaponsmith. Also, if you have at least 500 military grade rounds by this point, you can make your way to the ammo kiosk to obtain Wheeler-Dealer, by spam selling and buying assault rifle ammo repeatedly until the achievement pops. Yet another edit: at 1:18:32, there should be a ladder next to the collapsed tunnel that you can scale, which will allow you to entirely skip the enemies underneath it, but there will be two more on the platform once the ladder is climbed, so use it carefully.

Ik this is really old but for real keep doing stuff like this i cant stress to you how many channels think they know what they are doing for enlightened when they didnt. Your the only channel that showed start to finish. Thank you so much for the plat much appreciated.

Fantastic work!!! Amazing guide, that one las achievement was a pain. I just want to state that you can actually save the guy from getting shot without triggering the alarm in Outpost, just knock the two soldiers quickly one after the other, you save him and you can move onto the next moral points. I'm talking about 1:03:59

Thanks :) If you happen to play the other metro title and use my longplay video for that one,bear in mind that a couple of missions are out of order. It has time stamps in the description and there is an annotation (that a lot of people turn off...) as well as loads of comments about it.

I don't have any current plans to play it, no. Though if I did, I've heard it's a very easy completion compared to Exodus and Last Light, so it probably doesn't need a similar vid. I actually haven't been making YT vids for years, although I kick around the idea of getting back into it again, perhaps with less emphasis on achievements. The Xbox One watered down gamerscore hunting and made it so easy to put up massive scores that I lost my desire to get achievements back in 2015-2016. I've been sitting in the upper 500k range for years now, lol. I still get them on the games I do play, but the amount of games I play dropped off a cliff when I stopped playing stuff I'm not interested in merely for achievements. Currently working on Hollow Knight, a challenging but fun metroidvania. It isn't nearly as flawless as I feel Ori and the Blind Forest is, but it makes up for its flaws with massive amounts of world exploration (easily 3x the size of Ori's world if not larger). The pacing is just so much slower than Ori and the world exploration and movement isn't nearly as fluid for the average player. Sorry, got off on a tangent there. :D
KorbeK Gaming i get that, you are man who needs a challange, completing the metro games without any help and then to make a helping video is amazing to me. Difficult games indeed! I am now at the 90% completion mark, just need Hedge - Hopper & Spartan 2033, disappointing that the spartan trophy is not unlocked by playing survival mode aswell... but hey, one more fast run & gun playthrough aint gonna be that bad, though i am a bit fatigued by the game at this point, just tried for the hedge hopper, did not get it even though i really believe i killed everyone.
I heard hollow knight was supposed to be a really good game! And hey, even if you didn’t make videos on achievements i would still be interested to see and hear your thoughts and commentary about games.

For Frontline, you can save the guy. If you shoot at the lantern on the rail past the support beam they're facing with a silenced weapon, you've got enough time to knock out the masked soldier and then the officer

1:04:00 You can actually knock these two guards out (Not killing them and not setting off an alarm if your quick enough) and get the moral point for rescuing the guy. Btw very awesome guide and amazing game. A decade gone by and I'm still playing this game on PS5 going for the platinum. I love the Metro series.
the way to do it is to position on the right side of the soldier since that will allow the quickest knock out animation, then just move forward while spamming E to knock out the commissar.

@@madpandabrigade9735 The video creator was able to go through the whole game stealthly and without killing, yet somehow didn't know he could knock out both of the Reds without raising the alarm.

I love this game and I enjoy watching people's walkthroughs years later but around 1:04:00 you can actually knock out the guy on the left and still have enough time to get the guy to your right.

19:30 is a grate door you didn't open with a safe key in edited out part. 1:18:30 mission outpost, there is a ladder all the way in the right corner when you first leave the tunnel goes straight to the journal. thank you so much for working to get us these achievements for an amazing game, i missed 1 journal # 42 cuz dabs and sleep deprived nightshift weekend stuff and i remembered it the second i crossed the door, i know this was 8 years ago but Hell YEAH THIS GAME IS GREAT!!!

The part with Khan and the tunnels had me rolling with laughter with how you were fastforwarding that part.
18:50 There is a section where you have to jump from one metal grate to another in a cylindrical structure to get the Safe Key AFTER finding the next diary in the glowing green pit at 19:32
Also one of the best and fastest places to go for the Thief achievement. It is quick, there are gold bullets and all.
Was this done on Spartan or Survival?

this guide is the best I've seen in my life I subscribed after the first chapter. BTW not having a mic is a good thing text is easy to read and voices are annoying. Nobody wants to hear some jackass explain there video title 4 times in the first 30 seconds, great guide.

1:03:57 you can actually save the guy here without setting off the alarm or killing the two men. You just need to knock out the first guy on the right and then quickly knock out the other guy on the left before he alerts the guards.

at 1:04 you CAN save the guy pretty easy...just knock them out. first the right than the left one. but you have to be quick or he will shoot you.

PS: I miss the Moral of Frontline lvl(no deaths) and still get the trophy.
The Dar Ones must be real petty because alot of those Moral points are stupid.
Good video though. When I played this on the Xbox I don't recall the points being so tedious.
