Because this was a canal and therefore home to rats and their urine, there's a chance of contracting Leptospirosis. If this progresses into Weil's Syndrome it can be fatal. Catching it is not 100% certain, so hopefully it all turned out well. BTW, I'm no doctor, so am happy to be corrected. Top marks to this young fella, both for his humanitarian efforts and for his taste in shirt design!

This gave me goosebumps!!! The universe sent just the right Earth Angels to the cat's rescue! I almost lost it when he took the time to comfort the cat making sure the soul of the animal is being tended to first before even attempting to make the rescue!!!🥹 Thank you for being with us in this crazy school we call life.
