I’m curious to hear about what works and what doesn’t work in the studio and or on stage.
    What are your thoughts?

Maybe I’m lazy, but I don’t get wet/dry live. My rig is always set up for it. I use the Radial Big Shot on both my pedalboards. I’ve also played almost every guitar in Jack’s collection and he’s guitars and setups are amazing!

Curt Kalyn thanks for the comment. I have to ask you what do mean you don’t get it live? You can’t hear the separation or “the wall of sound”? Or you just don’t see the benefit? I’m also assuming that you are a gain stage guy in your rig as well.

Hey Curt, are you running in-ears? I am in one of my gigs and I use the wet /dry through it as well. With no in-ears I find that I don't need to be cranked to hear myself. Using a condenser on the wet and a 57 on the dry. FOH gets blended into a big mono. It frees me also not to stand in one particular sweet spot to capture the vibe. I get a much more full and inspiring sound that it just fills the space rather than a loudspeaker kicking you . "Exploring the space!" 😆 What are you 'A + B'ing?

AdLace Studios well I don’t do wet/dry live.
Slowly my amps are getting smaller and smaller. Im down to an AC10. If I can get another one I will probably start as my pedalboard is fully set up for it.

Carrie Facca no in-ears. I get to crank my small amp now, but I never really considered it for the reason of being loud enough and getting into that “sweet spot” on stage. I think I’ll look into it.
I have been running True North pedals Northern Lights treble booster into their Northern lights Tweed Drive since those pedals were released. In fact, Sheldon made me a custom enclosure with both circuits in one enclosure. That’s side A(dry) Side B (wet) contains those drives and the three 500 series boss pedals. I’m extremely happy with this setup.

Curt Kalyn I hear ya on “slowly my amps are getting smaller and smaller” comment. Gone are the days of the big rigs. I can’t count how many shows I used to lug my twin Marshall stack from venue to venue. Sounding great and and giving your audience the appearance of a big show production by using big gear seems to sadly be a thing of the past in m opinion. A lot of live acts these days don’t even have an amp on stage!?!? They sound great due to technology but where’s the effort for these shows?
Sorry I got way off topic there.
Would like to see you guys play sometime.
