Hello, 5:43 at this part, even I connected my drum set I don't see it on "All Inputs" any solutions?

I know this is an old video..... I can trigger superior drummer 3 just fine on the stand alone but when I do it on the DAW, it doesn't trigger. I did everything your video says but with no results. What could I be overlooking? I have studio one 6 professional

I have a problem, i connect my medelli DD506 And my pc and i try with my notebook and doesn't work, i use the same cable to use the midi controller and works, i try in other pc and works , i have win 11. Help plz

Wonder if you notice that you have to get soooo close to the mic and cranking the volume only makes it more difficult but ! have been told that there is a wiring adjustment ( or rearrange ) that can increase the sensitivity to something close to my handheld Shure mics .( ps run it through my Bose L18 so no gain but don't need it for all other mics just this one ? ) Nice calm vid

Thank you for this tip. I was looking for this the morning not knowing why my edrum was not able to read on the studio one.

I tried this same exact procedure in Studios One 5 Artist with Superior Drummer 2 and an Alesis Nitro module. No luck so far

Pin 1 is the shield. The old rhyme to remember the signal conductors is "2 is hot, 3 is not." That leaves 1 as the shield. Also, you should reverse the polarity on a sub kick mic so it will be in polarity with standard mics. Speakers move in the opposite direction of mics: the positive phase of a cycle depresses the diaphragm of a mic but it pushes the cone of a speaker outward, and visa versa. Hence, when using a speaker as a mic, you need to reverse the polarity. Pin 2 (hot) on an XLR should goes to the negative terminal of the speaker.

Thanks! This filled in some gaps for me. I've got an old Roland TD-3 kit that I wanted to try out with EZdrummer. Your video answered a lot of questions about the hookups. I found an old midi cable and was able to successfully use a Presonus Audiobox USB to connect to my PC using Studio One. Much appreciated. Next step is to actually demo EZ drummer and see how it works out.

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! I have a Donner DED-200, its not the highest end kit, but it feels GREAT! The downside is the module is, well, what you pay for. Being able to connect this to Studio One as a midi controller is a dream!!

I set my TD-17 set up, but I keep have problems where my drums trigger my synths and my midi controller triggering my drums. I need to figure out a way to stop that from happening, do you have any technique’s, because you had to of had this happen too before, right??

I’ve set up my SPD SX as you’ve described but still can’t see it on the DAW.

Have I been confused this whole time? Is it not possible to record MIDI using the drums, and use the same sounds that are coming from the drum kit? Do you have to use a VST for the actual sound?

Very clear and easy to follow, thank you! I found a wireless MIDI cable, check them out it works very well and has been pretty convenient for drumset and as always any input lag off MIDI I just Q it out later!

Did you ever tried Hertz Drums plugin? The story behind it is that I have triggers in my drum set, they go in to the DDTI module (from ddrums), then to the computer with Studio One 6. I do have signal from the triggers, but some how I have a hard time with the sound coming from Hertz which is like Ez Drummer. Sometimes I heard the sound loud if done with the mouse, but veeery low with the trigger of sometimes no sound at all. There's a 14 day trial, if you want to experiment the issue I have and figure a way out.

You do realize that Pi[eline does this for you. Ping your loop and ir will give you your offset. You dont need all this loop back measuring shit.
