I finally worked out the second way that wasn't shown. Initially, I was trying to use all 6 of the numbers shown. I keep forgetting you don't have to do that. Still, it took me some time to get it.

I point out to all the math students I coach that 91 is the easiest 2-digit number to mistake for a prime. It's 13x7 but Americans don't do 13 times tables at all and don't take their 7 times tables that far. Whereas my Welsh great uncle learned through 25x25 in primary school (and assembled Spitfires, drove a fire truck during the Blitz and, at 101, still repairs clocks).

That said, it's pretty easy even if you don't memorize the full tables to see that 70 and 21 are both divisible by 7. But even knowing that, 91 still looks prime-y.

Have to agree, this didn't make her look good at all, I mean getting the math wrong was fine but the way she clearly tried to take it out on the other guy and him shutting her down was priceless. She seems like she takes herself waaay too seriously.
I always find Katherine Ryan very unpleasant, there's a nasty undercurrent to her. She sneaks personal digs in under the guise of 'comedy'.
Theres 'undercurrents' to everybody , read some Carl Jung. She's a smart enough comedian, nothing sinister really imo.

argieav I just think that makes excuses for people being unpleasant. There are very few other comedians who tell jokes that seem like personal digs. Even darker, confrontational comedians like Jimmy Carr tells some horrible jokes, but they don't feel like genuine snipes or digs. Katherine Ryan's jokes tend to be a little bit too close to home at times, too close to reality. I think that's the difference.
John Cleese snipes at people but he isn't just a nasty man because of that. I guess I just can't consign Ryan to the 'nasty' pile of humanity. When she turns up on shows I listen and find her quite sharp but not needlessly nasty. But we aren't going to agree, we just have different reactions to her comedy style.
I like it when Rachel flexes her brain and shows us her Master's level intellect

Now that had timing and charm, with the perfect amount of self deprecation which completely dazzles an uncertain Katherine as she mutters 'alright' and tries to play cool while everyone laughs hysterically. Brilliant.
Yeah, she's painful and I despise the dumb way she talks. The only American or Canadian I have seen hold their own on these British shows is Michelle Wolf. Katherine is way out of her league with her Food Court English.
Shw was literally just calling back to an earlier joke the guy made about receiving a memo about touching the patients. She was hardly even making a joke, but was rather playing into the banter, which set him up for a fantastic comeback.
