    Just a quick question:
    What does she mean when she says "engage" or "activate"...
    Example: Engage your glutes.. or core. 😁😁

    • @TrainLikeaBallerina
      @TrainLikeaBallerina  Год назад +1

      Thank you for reaching out with your question. When we say "engage" or "activate" in the context of exercise, we are referring to the process of intentionally contracting and using a specific muscle or muscle group during a particular movement. For example, when we say "engage your glutes," we mean to contract and use your glute muscles during a specific exercise or movement. Similarly, when we say "activate your core," we mean to contract and use your abdominal and back muscles to stabilize your spine and maintain proper form during an exercise. Thanks for asking, Doll.
