Very helpful, thank you! I also just picked up a T10 and am still getting familiar with it. And I want to add a scope function so am watching closely. Maybe add a video showing how to use it with an O2 or similar as part of the diagnosis process?

That T10 looks like a nice tool. I like that it has playstore. Im curious, have you used the 1008 much on hscope? I find it almost unusable and prefer the native pc software. The problem I have using it on hscope is that if you set your timebase the options for the sampling rate change. When you go to set the sampling rate, the timebase changes. Makes it difficult to capture certain signals. The 1008 is good for most diy diagnostics. Resolution kinda sucks and it gets worse as you load up channels. I have a vid I posted doing a crank/cams correlation on 3 channels and it worked pretty good. You can check fast communication signals like CAN hi/lo to see if they mirror each other or to check for shorts but the resolution isn't accurate. You dont capture the square waves, not enough resolution. I have the HS502 2channel scope on hscope and its loads better than the 1008. It's 12bit and has way better resolution. Has a big buffer and can record long captures. You can also save waveforms in files that you can re open and manipulate. Something you can't do with the 1008. It comes with the hscope license and includes the automotive modules. At $100 it's probably the best diy scope. The only downside is it's only 2channels. I just use the 1008 if I need more than 2ch. Some day I'll break down and buy a good 4ch pico. Cheers👍

I recently got a topdon artidiag 900 lite and thought it would be great to have the hscope app on it since it’s an android device but it doesn’t have google play. I was able to load the apk file on to a flash drive and load it onto the scan tool but there is not way to purchase the licenses without the google play so it’s nothing but a basic demo version.

Extremely helpful. Thanks! Any idea if the picoscope 2204a can be use? Is Hantek the only one making a good app for Android? Seems like it is from what I see in the Google Play store. I went ahead and ordered the Hantek to use with my T10.

I don't believe the Picoscope has an Android app. I recommend what you did, check the app store first.

Hscope not supported for pico. No other apps for pico. The pico software is great. Your better off using it.
