Good thing they have 4 spots available due to Lyles's Bye!

One of the highlights of the games The Jamaican women delivered in the 200m so did The American men in the 200m. The first strides of Noah, we knew he had it in the bag.
When Bolt did the 200m WR, he was in 9.58 shape. When he did 19.30, he was in 9.68 shape. Let that sink in just before we conclude his 19.19 is in any danger.
Say it louder for the ones in the back. Noah even said the last 50m he felt like he was going to fall and he was in a lot of pain. So imagine going faster, plus his running already looks tight so he would have to work on that as well. Don't think anyone is touching any of Bolts records this, but talk is good for the sport.
Usain ran 19.19 into a slight -0.3 headwind while Lyles ran 19.31 with a 0.8 tailwind. A lot of people have forgotten that Usain ran the world record into a headwind
According to the interview with Bolt and Michael Johnson's quote of an other interview with him in this video: ruclips.net/video/_vlVvxypZJ4/видео.html Bolt said that his training wasn't as good as the previous year and he was rather tired on that day. Personally I do also think that Bolt's high top speed and long strides would lend itself more towards performing relatively better in the 200m (not 2x the time, but less), than a fast starting, short distance runner would.

Bolt ran 19.19 with -0.3 wind while Lyles did 19.31 with +0.4 wind. If Bolt was in the same shape and had the same conditions he would run in 19.10 most likely 😅
Also, Usain had to run four rounds while lyles only ran 3 He also ran 4 rounds of 100m which culminated in a 9.58. So despite all those rounds and running so fast over 100m, Usain STILL ran a 19.19 into a headwind He’d definitely go sub 19 if he had less rounds under his legs
Wallace spearmon said Usain could've ran 18.9X if he had really put his mind to it. I dont think so but with +1.5 wind i could see him having done 19.05
