    I love Sigs, Glocks, CZs, Berettas, Rugers, Zevs, HKs, and so many more. I'm glad that we have so much variety and each manufacturer has it's merits. The P10c is one of the best pistols out of the box that doesn't kill the wallet.

    I have the 1st Gen P10C myself and have run through thousands of rounds, and I'm pretty much in the same boat as you. It is my absolute favorite striker fired pistol I own, so much so I have multiple P10C pistols, and recently ordered the optics ready version. I've taken a few pistol training courses with my P10C and it has done extremely well. I Only realized lately from my last training course that I needed to venture into the red dot pistol optics version since my eyes are getting bad, without my glasses I cannot see the front sights anymore since I turned 50.

    Have had mine for more or less a year now, and after approximately 2000 rounds, not a single failure. My only gripe is the grip being a tad too small for my hands, but slipping plus-2 shoes onto the mags fixed that. Was thinking of customizing mine, but after fitting a light and Trijicon reddot, there's really no need. The trigger is just right, the recoil is just right, I never even had an issue with the ambi mag release.
    I might sound biased, but I think for anyone who wants a pistol that's just right straight from the factory, this is it. Yes, the Shadow Systems MR920 exists, but that is really a significant step up in price.

    • @echo24tactical
      @echo24tactical  Год назад +1

      I had the shadow systems MR920 War poet for two weeks and sold it. I was getting slide bite, because of my high purchase and large hands on the firearm the meat of my hand by my upper thumb knuckle would bleed every time after 30 rounds.

    Just received the P10c from a deal so absorbing all of the P10C reviews and media. Your review is spot on to my situation. My wife has a Glock 19, It's a fine shooter but for me all of the ergonomics of it are awful. I have the same issue with slide bite, the mag release is just trash, the grip is wonky on a good day.
    The P10c... Online deal for $350, I went to the local big box and gave it a look. I walked out of there hating the grip texture, immediately turned off. Deal went on for several more days and I talked myself into "gotta collect 'em all" so I bought it. So glad I did. Amazing shooter, the grip is super aggressive but is great in the hand while shooting. Mine has the new mag release (one side) and it works great. I'm an optics kind of guy and I have no issue with the irons on this gun, optic cut, no plan to put an optic on it. This has replaced my carry and favorite range gun.
    If you're a buyer on the fence, try to shoot one, it'll be no question after.

    Have the P10C and P10F: Both are ammo-sensitive. WWB FMJs and Fiocchi JHPs jam, with live rounds stuck in the chamber. I have to whack the slide on a table to get the live round out. Also, I had to file the trigger safeties just a tad: these would lock up the trigger with even a tiny amount of lateral force. A bit of 'squish' disappeared when the filing process was complete. I'll probably ream the barrels to get rid of the ammo issue at some point. As for my Glocks, all have had malfunctions with certain brands of ammo, but they've been more reliable than the CZs.. that's just my personal data points.

But I saw on CZ's site is that they have them optic ready for like 450 beans which is insane to me! That's even cheaper than an M&P! And as far as I know, everyone loves their P10c's and other CZ pistols.

    Enjoyed the video. During the past two years, I have transition from Glocks and CZs to H&K pistols. I carry either a H&K P30SK or a H&K VP9SK. Similar pistols except the P30SK is a DA/SA pistol and the VP9SK is a striker fired pistol. I have small hands and the adjustable grip panels (sides and back) on these firearms allow me to fit these firearms to my hand very well. My son-in-law has a full size CZ 75 which his Dad brought back from Germany in the early 80s and I think this is one of the finest shooting pistols which I have every fired. However, my most favorite CZ handgun is the CZ 75 SP-01 Phantom 9mm handgun which was discontinued in 2019, and my second most favorite CZ is the CZ 2075 RAMI BD which was discontinued in 2020. These are two very fine handguns, and my selection of the H&K P30SK with decocker was driven by my very accurate shooting of the CZ 2075 RAMI BD.

    I have the 2021 P10c the only thing I changed was the trigger. I loved the way it fit my hand but the trigger safety would rub a blood blister on the bottom tip of my finger after less than a hundred rounds. The safety was not depressing flush with the trigger so I looked on line found HBI because they said theirs fit flush when depressed and bingo not a problem anymore. I go to the range every 2 to 3 weeks and usually shoot 200 to 250 rounds sometimes 300 and may get a little tenderness in that area of the finger but no blister. I don't care how big a fan of any other brands you are if you shoot the P10c you will question your loyalty to what you have been shooting.

      Appreciate the feedback. I submerge the pistol and all components when I strip it down in rubbing alcohol. I lube it with Militech on the rails, slide, barrel and I just shoot the heck of it!
      The alcohol will dry everything out. So I just take a rag with Militech on it and wipe down the entire pistol as well, and wipe it down again with a dry towel. That’s how I care for it.

    • @echo24tactical
      @echo24tactical  Год назад +1

      There is little to no routine maintenance on the lower and trigger assembly. If you drop in the dirt and it’s gritty or maybe once every several years or every 5000 rounds of you wish to clean it. Throw the lower in rubbing alcohol get what your can out by slouching it around, OR just run it under the hose take Q tips or something that’ll reach give it a quick wipe. Get an keyboard air can if you want to take it a step further blow it out and just spray a light coating of lube around the moving parts and call it quits.
      Realistically though don’t over think it, just leave that part alone. Or just reach what you can with a Q tip every time you clean it.

      I have a lot of personal experience with them, I don’t need to own one to have personal experience. Everyone I know personally has one.
      They just did remarkable marketing and figured out a way to let every police department in the nation obtain them at an affordable price when purchased in bulk.
      If you pay attention now a lot of LE agencies are also moving away from Glock and picking up other manufacturers that actually do a much better job at accomplishing their needs and wants in the pistol.

      Felt recoil is felt more in the P10C so I’ll give that to PDP
      I can do .20 splits with the PDP and .17 splits with the P10C
      I can shoot the PDP several inch better groups at 25 yards with the PDP
      I still own the P10C but the PDP is amazing, I sold the PDP for two reasons I keep a revolving door of firearms so I can keep content coming AND even though it was a the SD Compact it was still was more of a full size pistol than a compact I also upgraded the guiderod and spring on the PDP so my remembrance and feeling was different than stock

    I notice CZ manual advises to "replace the backstrap roll pin" upon changing of grip panels. Im pretty content with "small" but was going to try "medium (and i have necessary punch tool) until I read the recommendation to acquire a new roll pin each time. Am I missing sonething there?

      @echo24tactical  Год назад

      taking into account my personal experience and the zero instances I know of that this actually led to an unintentional discharge, my conclusion is It was an interesting read, but gun's just fine.
      There are threads out there explaining how the mechanism works. But to sum it up Most of the guys who says the block doesn't work demonstrate this by pulling the striker fully to the rear and letting it batter it's way through
      the block. The block isn't designed to stop the striker moving from full travel. The only way the striker gets to full travel is to pull the trigger. The guys doing this are just damaging their guns. at rest has only a partially cocked striker, the firing pin block is there to protect against a mishap in which the striker is let go from that state. That is, about quarter inch travel of the striker. The only way for that to happen is if the trigger bar or striker breaks. But you would need real inertia to break the trigger while falling and you can’t break it on a fall because it has the dingus peace in the trigger Glock has.
