I bought it yesterday, it doesn’t come with charger and cable 😡😡😡
I thought this was just me!!! WTF Sony. So cheap.
How do you charge the battery
@@julesdoesfitness7887 You can plug the camera in with a USB-C cable and plugged into an outlet. The alternative is to buy a charger separately, which is what I did. I found one on Amazon that has three charging ports. I have three batteries so I keep the two spares charged and ready to go. It is BS that Sony makes you buy a charger separately.
You really have a gift to explain and teach.
Thank you so much for such a clear and concise tutorial! Just rented this for a New Zealand holiday so this is super helpful.👍
Thanks for this in-depth step by step guide on the Sony ZV1 MK II, it was really detailed & helpful! Subscribed! 👊🏻
You’re awesome, thank you for taking the time to make this video, so so helpful!❤
Thank you so much for making two seperate videos. This was so helpful! I Was feeling a bit overwhelmed unboxing my first camera. Now I am feeling a bit more confident. I will be watching the second one soon 😊.
Very informative! Thanks so much Jason! 👏🏼
thanks for the guide! I’m definitely interested in getting this camera to start a channel!
This was incredibly well done. I appreciate your work! 👍
Thank you very much!
Just subscribed to your awesome channel and have already watched a few videos on the new Sony vlogging camera.
This arrives Friday for me, I can’t wait to start using it thanks to your beginners guide I should have it up and running pretty quick. Deano
Thanks for the quick guide
Very helpful video!
Thanks dude! so easy to understand and follow, appreciate it! 😀
Glad to hear it, thanks :)
Thank you for this. It's very helpful.
You're very welcome!
Great intro to this camera. Just purchased one a few hours ago. Thanks for your help!
Hope you enjoy it!
Thanks for this video. I am in the process of purchasing this camera and as soon as I find the best external flash, I can complete my purchase.
Hello, for this ultra compact camera the Sony HVL-F20M would be a great fit: geni.us/SrRAawR
Thank you. I think I got the right one, then.
Great vid
Very well detailed 🫶🏼
Thank you!!
Say I'm tryna record a video would I set everything before I hit record also for the item mode I do sneaker reviews I started about a year and half ago just got my first camera what would be best set up for sneaker reviews
I made a few mistakes as I followed along. How do I reset and start over
Hey great video . Just purchased & realized it has no flash :( do you recommend a flash for it and is this a good camera for beginner high quality photos ?
Hello, for that camera the Sony HVL-F20M would be a great fit: geni.us/SrRAawR
This one is better then my Canon 250d ?
I just purchased one. Did yours come with a UBC charging port and cable? Or did you buy that separately?
Mine did come with one, but it was a pre-production model from Sony I was borrowing... Here is a charger Kit you could get geni.us/zxE7 , but all you really need is any good wall wall charger like this: geni.us/1SGAwQ and a USB-C cable like this one: geni.us/G3c9s1 be sure to select the length cable you want...
my camera won't record audio for 30 frames per second or higher. Is there a way to record audio with higher frame rates?
Appreciate the guide! However the released product doesn't come with a charger 😭
Yeah, I'm sorry about that I was not sure because I had a pre-production unit and could not find out for sure one way or another... You just need a USB-C charger and though which you can get very cheap on Amazon. I have a few linked in the description of this video if you need one, but you might be able to use your phone charger for example to get up and running.
I have just bought an additional 2 x series batteries. Do Sony actually do an official charger for these? I hate the thought of having to do one at a time via the camera..
This is the Sony option I think makes the most sense: geni.us/zxE7 There are many non Sony options like this one as well: geni.us/2BcUHzN
I purchased this camera, after I watching this video. I'm not a savvy photographer or blogger. I'm trying to make fitness content. I found it hard making workout videos with my phone and I wanted something simple. Do you have any video that shows the downloading of video and editing for this camera?
Not this with this camera, but yes and the concepts are the same. See here: ruclips.net/video/jx_PC1DfBxI/видео.html
Thanks for the video Jason, very well explained! I just have one question since I honestly can't believe this: does the ZV-1 ii actually have a slowest shutterspeed of only 1/4s? I'm looking for the perfect compact point and shoot to do timelapses, especially sunset/blue hour of cityscapes for which a longer shutter is absolutely necessary. I thought I found the perfect EDC camera in the ZV-1 ii given it's wide angle, but now i just read this ridiculous shutter speed limitation! Another site says it does go up to 30s in manual mode, can you confirm which of the two is the case? Cheers!
iAuto (4"-1/32,000) / Program Auto (30"-1/32,000) Manual (30"-1/32,000) / Aperture Priority (30"-1/32,000) / Shutter Priority (30"-1/32,000)
@@Jason_Hermann Well that's disappointing....went out and got my ZV1-M2 today, only to found out that INDEED that slowest shutterspeed is 1/4s, even after updating to the latest firmware. Really don't understand why you presented these numbers to me, did you just copy this from the ZV1? I specifically asked you because you seemed to have the most in depth understanding of the ZV-1M2. Would love to hear if i'm missing something, or how you came about this info?
@@drbdrbrobertdrbdrb Oh man I am really sorry!! I took the time to look this up yesterday from Sony's website, but I clearly messed up and you are correct I mistakenly looked at the ZV1... WOW I really feel terrible :( Again I am really sorry and I am honestly shocked I missed this shutter speed spec when I reviewed the camera. All I can say I am very sorry I totally dropped the ball on this one and yes I should have absolutely know about this cripple on the ZV1 Mark II. I will gladly pay for your return shipping and whatever other costs this might accrued on you as I feel 100% responsible.
@@Jason_Hermann all good man, no worries! Ofcourse i'm disappointed, but in Sony for making an otherwise great camera 'worthless' for my use case. That's why I had to vent a bit hehe. No need to pay for the return shipping, but thanks for offering!
It seems right now it's the only 1' point and shoot with a wide 18mm lens, which I love. Obviously this camera is aimed at vlogger and more optimised for video, but to me it's ridiculous they limit the camera so much for photography, while it seems even a software update could fix this. Hopefully something in the future will be more complete :)
Yup, Sony clearly crippled it's photo capabilities to justify keeping the price down. The RX100 series is the high end photo video ultra compact camera option they offer. What a shame and I appreciate your understanding in my error and my offer still stands... All the best, Jay
Thank you for your instruction, now I can take a photo, iam ạ low key LOL 😅
You're very welcome 😊
@@Jason_Hermann 🥰
Not only kind but also handsome my bro ha ha
I just got this today it dont come with a charger cable 🙄
when i change the frame rate it to 100 it says 'cannot change when set to PAL' what does that mean?
MENU → (Setup) → [Area/Date] → [NTSC/PAL Selector] → [Enter] This is the regional frame rates depending on where you live in the world. I live in North America, so the camera comes set as NTSC, but if you live in Europe for example the camera will be set to PAL. The frame rates are different for each region, because of the broadcast standards being different.
I open it and it doesnt has the fuction on it how can I d o
UHS-2 is not supported by this camera. Can you confirm? Can’t seem to find documentation for it
Correct, it's just a UHS-1 slot per the specs.... A UHS-II card will still work in the camera, but it will default to lower UHS I speeds when in using in the camera. However if you use a good SD Card reader like this one geni.us/q2WF you can still transfer the files off the card at USH-II speeds which is very handy if in a rush...
@@Jason_Hermann thanks!
wait is this a different sony zv-1? i dot think mine is touch screen so im confused

Peace from Algeria 🇩🇿🙏❤
Hello there :)
Today is may 20 2024 (I watched it by accident 😂)
Just got mine from Amazon. No charger, no usb cable and no memory card.
Thanks for the report, and it does not come with a memory card 100%, the other stuff I was not 100% sure....
$855 and mine didnt even have a charge chord with it like yours.
Bro its blue tooth you can use headphones bu blue tooth
This was SO helpful. You obviously understand the camera at a deep level, and yet you haven't forgotten what it's like to be a total newbie. Framing things in the beginner's perspective is so important when making a tutorial and yet it's also somewhat rare to find. I was watching someone else's tutorial before this one but I gave up since it was so difficult to follow. I'm going to watch your longer tutorial next. Liked and subscribed. Thanks for making these!
Thanks
