I wasn’t a fan of the lipstick shades either but then I remembered that they are eye safe and the Metallic shades would be beautiful as liquid shadows or liners!

Really? I mostly saw people complaining that no colors go together and it's hard to make any nice, fun looks with them, not that the colors are too bold, or something. Not to mention the conspiracy palette somehow managed to be full of boring, everyday shades and those still don't go together.
Sarah Alota There are so many basic palettes out there and even jeffree has some but Conspiracy is completely different. EVERY color was swatched in the series so no excuses there and I LOVED the colors. They’re highly pigmented and I’ve gone through a bunch of videos of beauty gurus doing eye looks and they’re beautiful. The mini I feel is a continuation of controversy and gives an opportunity for basic smokey eye looks (the top of controversy and mini) but also BOLD eye looks with the rest of the palette with is the whole point of Jeffree’s brand. Tati’s palette was also beautiful but the point of hers was to introduce herself with basics. Tatis I also loved bc her pressed glitter was STUNNING. If you don’t wear bold, new colors that brands haven’t done before jeffree is not where you go.
Trinity De Leon exactly. Idk why everyone felt like they had to rush and buy it just because they were fans if they didn’t like the colors. They could’ve easily waited to see if they wanted them by just looking at them or reading reviews. This is why people have to learn that they can’t get mad at others if they are the ones jumping on a bandwagon. It would be different if it was already out and had good reviews, but everyone is just buying it just because their fans, and blaming them by saying these aren’t the colors they want when they were literally shown in Shane’s video.

isn't the gloss supposed to smell like diet root beer because shane is obsessed with it. the pressed pigments have to be labelled as 'not safe for eyes' because they contain artificial dyes to make sure that they're vegan, and they can sometimes stain, so the FDA mandates that they have to be labelled that way - 9/10 times they're fine though!
Love how honest you were when saying "if it wasn't shane" and that you're not used to bright colours and stuff. It instantly made everyone's trust for you increase and made you're review much more trust worthy ^^ I feel exactly the same 😂

So the 8 shades in the palette that aren’t “intended” for the eye area are pressed pigments which stain and in America we have laws against pressed pigments and certain sized glitters going around the eyes and makeup companies have to say it.

@@KirstySciberras i really wanted to get it but i had money saved for the shane and jeffree collab. Also the shipping to the uk is quite pricey and last time i paid for makeup from the us i had to pay £40 customs😭😓 but it is such a pretty pallete, i wish it was sold on another website too though

soph, a lot of eyeshadow palettes have those warnings about “not being safe around the eyes”. it’s just because they’re pressed pigments that will dye ur lids.
i'm impressed with the packaging etc. and i'm happy for shane and i know there's more or less a story behind every color but i feel like they don't really go together? they randomly put together and there isn't really a color theme to them, which is really unappealing to me.
Well I see where you are coming from but all of jeffree's pallets are ment to have some everyday wearable shades but then the really bright colour explosion. Wich is why the bright colors seem out of place

The warning is also on the jawbreaker palette. You’re bang on about it being about the pigment, it stains the skin and makes it difficult to remove. It usually comes off fully the day after x

@@noaccount8957 there's unlikely to be an actual restock on the 4th. what they meant was that they were going to order more stock so it can be made. so it'll be a few months at the least before there's a restock. they can't just magic up stock in a day to be made and have it shipped out. I mean, they sold out all the stock they had so they have to order more to make.

The mini controversy palette isnt my cup of tea, but to be honest, the conspiracy palette has all my favourite eye shadow colours in it. I wont use the yellow, but the rest is perfect for me! Much more so than the jeffree star ones.
They're not meant to go together or compliment eachother, that was the whole point. For it to be strange and somewhat confusing. It's meant to entice creativity, and help you step out of your comfort zone, to try something uncommon and weird.

The shade "I Gotta Go" is my favorite so far. I've worn it almost every day!

The mini controversy palette isnt my cup of tea, but to be honest, the conspiracy palette has all my favourite eye shadow colours in it. I wont use the yellow, but the rest is perfect for me! Much more so than the jeffree star ones.
They're not meant to go together or compliment eachother, that was the whole point. For it to be strange and somewhat confusing. It's meant to entice creativity, and help you step out of your comfort zone, to try something uncommon and weird.
