Great freaking game! Cinematics are amazing, characters are really likeable, each has their own side quests. And the story is really deep and full, definitely in my top 3 games ever! Highly recommend the series
Tou Iij It's damn well worth a buy the story is fantastic and the characters are absolutely lovable. I'd say it's best to play those games starting from the first one "Koudelka", then "Shadow Hearts" then "Covenant" and then "From The New World". It's a very intriguing experience as the tone of the serie gradually changes from serious, mature horror game to a hilarious batshit crazy over the top comedy. First 2 games are a bit rough around the edges when it comes to the gameplay but none of their shortcomings ever make them unenjoyable and the story is the strongest out of the serie in those 2. The last 2 games have fantastic gameplay and the story is still good, it never gets boring and those have some of the most memorable characters in any game I've ever played.
@@GooseGumlizzard that's your opinion. But the fact that they through the Jecht and Tidus are part of the Fayth's dreams just had me like : seriously? What? Plus every boss in this game was meant to be in there. They didn't throw in a final final boss cuz , OH YEAH there's THIS ASSHOLE. Nope Kato is the final boss and there's no one stringing him along...as if ANYONE would be able to manipulate Kato. Plus there's the transformations that Yuri had , each one different and powerful , i enjoyed looking at them and using them more than say any summon in X. ( you know besides Yojimbo for OBVIOUS reasons.) This game also had a great replay value, which FFX did not. Hell this game had so much replay value i played through 3 times on the same save data and STILL don't have the entire 72 crests unlocked. Can't say the same for FFX. This game is a complete masterpiece that i go through time and again for the humor, for Lenny and of course....the torture scene....
Exactly what I was feeling on June 10th, 2022. The time I stood up for myself and broke my silence. I was Yuri/Amon and the mofro that got what he deserved was Rasputin/Asmodeous. Kids, even though videogames aren't real, sometimes a storyline or z scene in a videogame, movie, cartoon, a TV show, or even music comes into reality. Another good example. Balto And another valid one, Rapidash. Balto vs. Rapidash vs. Yuri This would be one awesome challenge because of all them proved the main antagonist wrong and it wasn't easy for any of the three. To anyone who doesn't know, here you go. 1995 🎬: Balto Balto vs. Steele. A whole entire city didn't want you and felt threatened by you and all d-rided Steele. Later on you became a hero and Steele got what he deserved...well sort of. I heard the real ending or should I say two real uh I mean alternative endings were much darker than the ending we saw in the movie. Both were. I understand why they didn't put it in the movie...unfortunately. 1999 📺: Pokemon. The Flame Pokemon-A-Thon Rapidash vs. Dodrio. Ash, Misty, and Brock befriend a girl named Laura Laramie. Wasn't an easy welcoming officially but it actually pays off later in the episode. Dodrio and the trainer Dario are super d-rided. Laura later on gets injured and has no way to get a rider to ride Ponyta because Ponyta will burn any rider except Laura. She has no choice and given the fact that Ash calmed Ponyta down due to a tough tragedy, Laura has no other option than Ash. The Pokemon Race starts. Ash and Ponyta want this badly. They know Dodrio is the main threat. Later on they have to fight Team Rocket almost every time and realized they intentionally broke Laura's arm and also working for Dario to make him win. Team Rocket finally gets beat but unfortunately Dario has a big lead. Now it's down to two pokemon, Ponyta is mad and pissed and has a giant burning 🔥. Surprise Mudafukka. I ain't done yet. Of course Dario tells Dodrio to do it and Dodrio pecks at Ponyta to make her slow down or fall so he could win. Typical *Bellichick* cheating crap. So then Ponyta knows "Oh no. I ain't done yet. You want it, good look. Now I have evolved into Rapidash. Surprise MuddaFukka Part II. "Now I'm gonna beat you and embarrass you for what u did to me. Caught up. Neck and Neck. The finish line. OOOOOOOOH BOOOOOOOOO YAAAAAAH *CHEERS AND APPLAUSE* Goodbye. Shadow Hearts Covenant Yuri: *This video* Balto vs. Rapidash vs. Yuri. This would be a tight race.
can you upload all cutscenes for the game in one movie? I think about buying copy of this on ebay but want to know the story first like if I care about any of the characters. I watch cutscenes on RUclips before buying game because story important to me.
if you mean the fact that she drools over yuri, meh. she's allowed to be attracted to him. and if you mean the fact that yuri doesnt fall for her, that's bullshit. no one would EVER take alice's place. that's the entire plot point of karin: she doesn't get the guy. if you disliked the original shadow hearts, too bad. they're not going to break canon just because everyone hops on covenant's dick to this day
Also, it made her the most powerful woman in gaming history.. ;) She's content with him knowing that *she* loves *him*. She's convinced he feels the same way, doesn't *know* it though, yet stuck with him through all that time.
@@adgato75 Yeah. That was one of the weirdest plotline back then. I felt like, the father's story should've been made to make a complete circle. I mean, Karin in the beginning is a strong character but a bit of a bimbo. If her memories from both time as Yuri's Mom and Karin in Covenant is slowly converging, then it could've explained why she is feeling some "romance" for her son. Like how she is actually confused about Yuri seeing his father's image then partway realizing how she is infact his mother and what she's feeling is her maternal instincts. I was hoping during the dark Seraphim quest, Karin would join Yuri and with his father realizing what is actually happening and Karin actually falling for his father instead and therefore, her "wish" to go back to time would make sense.

I bet you if people only could have seen this scene ahead of time, they would have left FFX in the stores for Shadow Hearts 2.
Pretty sure FFX came out like 3 years before Shadow Hearts Covenant, so it really wouldn't have mattered.
