Not sustainable enough, according to them. Putrajaya has low population density. I guess, that's what happened when you jacked up all the housing prices.

The boomers in power like these gadget-bahns better because they want to be seen as "terpaling up to date with new technologies" even though we know it fucking sucks, massively overhyped without any notable benefits that couldn't be done by more cheaper contemperary systems. 95% of the time for cities of less than 500k people, high frequency buses with it's own lanes or trams are sufficient. Once it reaches more than 500k population is when it's time to have a dedicated rapid transit system (elevated metros/rolling stock)
This ART not suitable as existing infrastructures cannot 'fit' with it. Why not revive the monorail system as there is such track around n left over from previous initiative?
Buat laluan utk basikal berbumbung sepanjang semua side jalan putrajaya dari stesyen mrt...dan provide basikal letrik. Haramkan kereta dan wajibkan semua pakai basikal letrik ... sebab basikal letrik & lalu laluan berbumbung, xde la org Msia komplem lencun peluh la penat la panas la 😂
Ehem, Jakartans riding this ART might feel a strong familiarity to their BRT articulated TransJakarta buses. Maybe because they come from a same country 😅 Anw, interesting route connecting popular tourist attractions.
It will be a white elephant very soon. Too clumsy and takes up too much road space. Commonsense will tell you it is not suitable. Furthermore, it is duplicating the MRT in term of riderships

Personal opinion BRT still much better than this one. This vehicle only win with the ultimate future look from the outside. BRT more feasible and capable.
better putrajaya sign contract beli 30 bas mirai jepun fuellcell lagi baguslaa at least dia jepun pastu dia power dan canggih alaa bas ev tapi dia hidrogen
I think the federal government is better to build a special viaduct for this ART to speed up trips, and to avoid many crossing roads with too many traffic lights in this Putrajaya Area, or likely Sunway's BRT viaduct. The cost to build viaduct maybe will be bigger but it will provide efficient n more comfortable transportation for the next decades.

Got it! Its currently an Artificial Rapid Transit :D Hopefully the systems learns from the drivers and become safely autonomous soon.

This was supposed to be used in JB. How come end up in Putrajaya
There will be more in JB . Sarawak has the first one.
@@abumahput5408 But this one designed for Johore. PY should have its own like Serawak has.
cheaper to just bring the bus to PY than shipping a new one from China. Same function and JB don't have the trial anymore@@serenajoharisalleh2501
Johor roads & traffics are not suitable for ART. Johor needs to build elevated roads only for ART.
Johor deserve LRT
Bring it to serve CBD and orchard area. This will solve overcrowding of buses over there.
This is not gonna solve anything, this is useless.
For me just resume the monorail. If don't have enough money just do a proper tram with rail.
This ART not suitable as existing infrastructures cannot 'fit' with it. Why not revive the monorail system as there is such track around n left over from previous initiative?
This is a gadgetbahn. A light rail with rubber wheels.
this ART bus was originally for Johor Bahru BRT, but the project was on hold for the RTS rail link project.
no the goverment realised that jb traffic is not suitable for this junk so theyre trying to justify this purchase somehow
@@noorulhasan4904 well the latest information is JB's ART will be fully elevated from the ground, guess the traffic is also one of the main reason.
