Hi there and thank you for this ! Do you recommend sewing in the foam cups after you are done crocheting the bralette, or sewing them in when you finish crocheting the cups, before you go on to complete the project ?
Hello! I'm sorry for the reply as I didn't see your comment. I believe you can get them on Amazon. Try also your local craft store. I got these pads from a fabric store in my town where they also sell sequins, beads and wedding gowns..
Hi! I watched like so many crop top tutorial videos and after they are done they just wear them I mean do they wear anything under them or something else and are crochet top not seet through like from those small hole I'm confused?? Pls tell me
Hello, thanks a lot for watching .. yes sometimes others like to wear something underneath them, I personally only wear the undergarment.. They can be see through depending on how it is made. If the person making it has a very tight tension on the hands, the outcome will not be as "holey" and can sometimes even look like knit
Hello Justine! For the original bra that I made, I used Cotton 8 by Scheepjes. For this video, I used a locally manufactured yarn of similar weight as the Scheepjes from the Philippines.
I've a lacy bra. That is quite expensive and it is mesh, it's translucent. I want to add fabric and also make it like I'd be able to detach the pads. Can you please tell how to do it? And it is pronounced as "laai - kraa"
Hi Srijata ... I'd be happy to help you with this on a separate video so that everybody will also be able to learn from it. Please hang in there and let's do this together. :) Kind regards, Kath.
Hi there! the size of the hole is totally up to you. No, I did not use a puncher. A regular puncher will not be able to cut through fabric especially on bra pads. Apart from that, it creates a huge hole. There are fabric punchers available online. I believe they come in sizes, some they use for creating eyelets on fabric.
@mere I got it online through Lazada, I'm not sure if the site is available in your area but if not, you can try to visit your local fabric store, they typically sell these where the fabrics are. Your local craft store may carry it as well.
I love a sturdy and neat look so Option 1 is always my go-to.. This is also what I usually see on fabric garments. If you have a stretchable thread that you can use instead of a "normal" thread, that's even better
I understand .. i highly suggest to try your local fabric store. I also didn't expect to find the ones I have from there ... It was displayed together with the wedding fabrics and sequins and flower crowns much to my surprise.
Hi! Unfortunately my seller doesn't sell them anymore. Have you tried your local fabric store? You can typically buy them there or a local craft store near you..
not necessarily ... but if you are making one for OOTD with the intention of not going in the water, then yes, the bra pads would be great ... especially for top heavy women and for those who feel awkward that their nippies may show through the stitches. It's all a personal preference and your client's preference. Hope this answers your question. 😊
Thank you! This really helped me. I love that you showed several different ways... some of my projects need different methods and this was amazing.
You're welcome! 😊😘

Hey, can I have the link to buy the pads please!
Thanks for this ate.
Most welcome 😍😘😘
Nice
Great tutorial, but... Wouldn't it make better sense to use thread to match the garment, instead of the pads?
You’re not supposed to sew all the way through the top.
