This version of the opening credits is basically the inverse of Season 8...whereas Season 8's opening feels rushed because they try to cram so many people into it, the first part of Season 11's opening feels like an awkward slog because they're drawing it out to fill space with so few original cast members remaining.
I dont think that was really a thing for most of the shows run maybe it's last 2 years of the run we are talking 1996-2007 so a huge part wouldn't be in hd anyway and changing the look of the show may (or may not) have killed the show sooner so maybe they didn't wanted to risk it and play it safe. Or may maybe they didn't want to try to remaster all the old episodes because they didn't want invest that kind of time and money doing it can't say for sure without asking the people who would be able to make those decisions.
@@MattHisagi we had HD in the early 00's. I was watching every episode of Everwood (2002-2006) in 16:9, but 7th Heaven was the last holdout on 4x3 on that network
only agreed to about 12 episodes that year, show was canceled with end of wb git big ratings in final wb season, contracts were over for all cast, new cw net picked up in last minute only dad, twins, and the other daughter returned full time mom and youngest daughter missed a bunch of episodes.

This is the final season of this series and a great one to watch and I wish that this was on DVD.

I agree alot of people thought it was bad but it was great. All 22 episodes were great but the final episode was my favorite!!!

They got rid of Matt,Simon, Mary due to budget cuts on the show, and made every's role recurring and cut their salaries.
