What a great idea to include catalog artwork in your SU DVD cases! I love that you just cut off the snaps on CTMH stamps. So many people had such complicated ways to remove the snaps.
Oh, really -- didn't know there was more ways to remove the snaps! Wonder if they re-used them?!? Cool. People are so creative! I wanted to save space so the scissors took care of it! Haha!
I use Evernote as well to inventory my stamps. as often as I add to it and look for different topics or subjects, it is worth the money to me. That way, I know right where to go in my stamp collection to find it. Thank you for your video! It was very informative!
Don't know if I mentioned it in the video, but you can save some money by canceling your Evernote and they have a new price offer for you! Thanks for watching!
I don't have my stamps organized yet as I haven't been collecting that long, however I have inventoried my extensive sewing patterns and other crafting supplies on Trello. I believe that could be a very good solution for the stamps as well. I use the free version.
I like the media cabinets you have your SU stamps on, thanks for sharing that link. I have some of my stamps in the Avery Elle sleeves and plastic bins, so I’m part way there. I just need to catalog them. I do keep excel lists for some things, and I started a binder with pictures or photo copies of the stamp sets. My idea being if I’m searching for a sentiment, I want to be able to see if it is the right size and font for the project, without having to pull the stamp sets out. It’s a huge job. Thanks for sharing your tips.
Thanks for watching!! Love the idea of the binder and I tried to do that years ago, didn't keep up with it. Excel or google sheets is a great idea, easy to search and free!
Thanks for sharing your ideas for storage and organizing your supplies. I have enjoyed the tips and always find something to add to improve the way I can find what I’m looking for. This is my first time watching your video and hope to enjoy more of them. 😊❤
I use the same storage pockets as you for all my stamp sets. The original packaging doesn’t last! For my inventory, I’m using Color My Life and it’s only $19.99 a year I believe!
For inventory checkout Airtable. I haven’t completed my inventories yet. But it seems to be ok. I don’t pay for it it’s free. I don’t THINK there is a limit on it but I could be wrong. But give it a try?!?
I am glad I stumbled upon this video, I like your storage ideas! I am going to grab some of those sleeves for my stamps. Thanks for the tips!
You are so welcome! And nice to meet you!
