I went shopping, enthusiastically buying my super foods and suddenly I felt a presents then the image of him in my mind...took me a while to figure out who it was. A few years ago (obviously before I realized she’s a narcissist or even learned what narcissism was) I would have trauma when I saw two couples eating at a restaurant together or just walking on the street together and having a conversation etc. it was like somebody stabbed me in the heart because I would ask myself “Why can’t I also have that?” And now when I see the same thing it actually makes me feel so happy for these people who are having a friendly relationship together. It took me a couple years to get to this level but I believe the brain has its own way of dealing with trauma. Give it some time and you’ll find a real man in your life because that is what you deserve!

Yes!!! Divorce is finally starting. I am ready. Two years from now I know I'll be happy with someone else, with a family, healthy and happy. 17 years of my life I will never get back. But praise God moving forward those 17 years will mean nothing other than a learned mistake. I am ready to finally be free.

I simply refused the toddler to wrest control of the steering wheel. I shut off every available avenue of contact from this person, including losing shared friendships. This Ex has probably and correctly concluded that A: I don't care, and B: that I see thru the ruse. I don't even pity her...I have my own life to live.
I have managed to be attracted to at least 2 narcissists in my life. The first one lasted nearly 15 years. She left just before she destroyed me. The most recent one has only messed me about for only 1 year. She's nearly 50 and has become a great disappointment to me.

I confronted him about messing with her AGAIN and he told me that he doesn’t want her but he could have her if he wanted to. He’s sick and probably said similar stuff about me but he can’t save me for later.

Dont trally care about him, more my don,but then he has his claws in my son and my son keros reporting back to him. I told my don id nrver mske him choose between us, I would just ealk away. I am at the point where I will just ealk away from him too. I feel i have been ostirnt eith my son, giving him doace yo heal and get his life back on track, but noe he seems to be treating me the same way his Dad did. Perhaps it eill be better for me to zhut the doir on my don until he grows up and starts to understand how his behaviour toeards me is hurting me and damaging the relationship. Im doing way better than my ex narcissist he sold our house i made a dumb mistake felt bad i was leaving him so gave him our house he wouldnt give me anything from it made $180,000 but im sure hes goimg broke by now hes getting romanced scamned by a foreigner ges talking to she still isnt here after 4 years so yay hes getting his karma i have my own house now i bought in a really nice community merting so many other good people now my trauma bond to him is slowly going away took me 4 years to realize just how toxic he was

The alcohol is more of a symptom. This lady told me "You're my alcohol" because I let her be her real self. After drinking for a while she would eventually get mean, though. One night she hit me. She didn't remember it the next day, but knew it must have been bad. Seems like narcissists don't like themselves and alcohol breaks down the filters they use to function, but it lets out the devourer.

Quantum physics and emotionality are mutually exclusive. I don’t buy into your theory Anna. I discarded my narc ex husband a year ago. He doesn’t even know where I live. I don’t use social media. He does know that I’m in a relationship with someone else because he contacted me and then I blocked him. He has NPD. I tolerated his twisted games for 7 yrs. It took me a long time to catch on because he’s covert with grandiose tendencies. I’ve never met such an evil, sick and twisted person like this in my life. No contact is great. As for him, I don’t care.
