While I don't necessarily disagree, I kinda feel like most of the songs are about some very heavy struggles. So I'd actually rather wish that no one "needed" an album like this. Unfortunately, a lot of people DO have these struggles, and it's great that people who do, can have an album like this. I'd just rather wish that people didn't get into a situation where they need this
Citizen soldier is my go to band when my anxiety and depression are at their worst and things seem hopeless. Your songs are so relatable and have helped me so much. This album speaks to me, possibly more so than the other albums. God bless.

Both personally and professionally I'm a psychologist in training. I think that your music is great and I hope more people will get to experience it for themselves and that it helps them through their dark days as much as it s helped me.

Dear Citizen Soldier-your songs help me with the battles I fight, I have no diagnosed mental disability. But I struggle with self-harm, hating my body because it causes my peers to disregard me and turn away from me. I have cerebral palsy, mentally I am the same as them, I don't have the same interests as them, I can't play sports and I don't want to, my legs don't work as they should. Many people don't realize that people with physical disabilities are not necessarily at a different intelligence level than they are. I shut myself off from the world, I didn't go out, I didn't go on trips with my family, I retreated into a world of my own making in the stories I write, but I don't publish anywhere. But you are helping me to come to terms with myself and letting me know that I am not alone in this struggle, no one is alone with us, even if everyone feels that way sometimes, and has the right to feel that way. Sometimes the struggle is hard, but no one is alone. Thank you again.

I won't lie. This last holiday round was really hard for me. I am not entirely sure why. I know part of it is that I'm working through trauma therapy and it was bad enough my therapist actually didn't let me leave until I reassured him I was okay to drive. I got into my car and the first song that popped up when I turned it back on was "Stronger than My Storm" and I just instantly felt a huge relief. It does get better. Bad days happen, that is part of fighting your mess and your demons but eventually you can grab them by the shirt and say not today. I'm taking it back. I won't lie. This last holiday round was really hard for me. I am not entirely sure why. I know part of it is that I'm working through trauma therapy and it was bad enough my therapist actually didn't let me leave until I reassured him I was okay to drive. I got into my car and the first song that popped up when I turned it back on was "Stronger than My Storm" and I just instantly felt a huge relief. It does get better. Bad days happen, that is part of fighting your mess and your demons but eventually you can grab them by the shirt and say not today. I'm taking it back. I listen to this album on repeat at work (I acrostic have a while playlist of music like this and damn near every song you his have put out is on it) even when I'm in patients rooms drawing their blood ill still have one headphone in.
