Was this originally done by the Carpenters, or was it on a kid's show? I remember listening to it when I was a kid and singing it at school (preschool/kindergarten).
Originally was sung on Sesame Street, and was written by one of the show's music writer's, Joe Raposo. The Carpenters' version was a cover, but it became the biggest pop hit for versions of this song. Hope this helps!
Kids don't have clue what is well done these days. Priceless. Here are two of the best ever.
his name is Bing
I know! Every problem that has and will ever occur is the fault of kids!
Kids these days would not know what they were doing
Great talent both
🕊Thank you Bing 🇺🇸and Vera, 🏴 for all you gave. For all those whose Spirits you lifted during WWII, and with other venues. 🕊
Lovely lovely 😊❤
great duo. famous Bing. and British star Vera Lynn. ❤❤❤❤
Just lovely ❤
Vera and Bing were my Dad’s most favourites singers simply awesome together!❤
Two icons from different sides of the pond. Back when people who had recording contracts could actually sing.
Never knew they ever met but I'm glad they did, nice to hear them sing together.
She got a great a voice
And he had the greatest voice of all. Listen to his jazz records from 1930-36.
awesome ! love both

I love that song,❤
Pure bliss!
The video quality is exceptionally clear, I would say
Wow, what a sweet duet. Bing was quite reserved around most people and he's quite tactile with Vera, you can tell he really liked her.
Bing Crosby was and will always be the best of them all, God bless him.
The 1970's were an interesting decade in terms of music. You literally had every single taste catered for in the mainstream.
Me fascina esta canción cantada por ellos
Wow. I just read a little about her. She lived almost 30 years longer than Bing. She died at 103.
if we could only go back to when tv was great not like the crap thats on today .
❤❤
Himmlisch gut❤😊
Were there other occasions where they sang together?
If I belief, I correctly, they toured together during World War Two.
I'm a brother listening
