I really like these, Brad-very impressive for the money. I prefer the blue dial, but wish it had a non-black bezel.

The bezel is dark, but it's more of a dark slate grey. It some lighting you can see the blue in it.

Hi Brad and watch gang, I agree with everything that you said: I tried one at my local AD and I could understand why the young sales guy was gushing over it. I didn't want to take it off...
I also like the blue, but note that legibility could be an issue in some lighting situations, but I would definitely buy the green. I'm told that the 6R54 is showing decent accuracy, although this never a given with Seiko.

I have a question Brad: how do these sit on your wrist compared with the SBGM247 that you reviewed recently? In other words, is it worth me travelling to see a SBGM245 and 247 if it's unlikely that they'll fit me? For context the Seiko reviewed here fits me like it's made to measure just for me.
