    The poem
"High Flight by John Gillespie Magee" was written by an American pilot who joined the Royal Canadian Air Force and after training, came to England to fight in WW2.
3 months after writing the poem and sending it home to his parents, he was killed in a flying collision over Lincolnshire in 1941 and he is buried in Scopwick church.
    He was 19yo.
I know most people will probably know this, so this is just in case. More info on Wiki if you are interested.

I thought the same thing from the very first video. A BBC special aired in America on our PBS network. Sister Wendy brought a new appreciation for art, Lucy Wolsey the backrooms and secrets of old British castles and now Ben is allowing the world to see the marvel of old village churches and their pipe organs. Good job Ben!!!

Consider the "surly bonds of earth" slipped -- in the loveliest way. Thank you, Ben.
Not long ago a friend of mine speculated that the centuries-old ideal of the Renaissance Man was no longer achievable in the 21st century. There was just too much to know at this point for the human brain to take in.
Your accomplishment here might argue against that. Cameraman, researcher, narrator, organist, historian, composer, driver, and cheese and pickle chef...I'm sure I've missed a few.
Beautiful drone footage (yes, I confess, I'm now a believer...baptise me in the Avon on the next warm day, please) combined with perfect church interiors, poetry that ranged from poignant to whimsical, butterflies and even original music, compliments of Ben Maton.
It feels as though handsful of pearls, sapphires and emeralds have been poured into my hands this Sunday evening. Only better. Much gratitude.

Isten új felfedező utakat nyit neg előttünk, rajtunk múlik melyík utat válasszuk, melyík úton lépkedjünk tovább... Ben a legszebb utat választotta, Isten házába vezetett minket, ahol béke és nyugalom tölti be a belső teret. Ben a költő szavait, ezen szent helyen adta elő, megnyerő hangjával, előadásával. Szent Mihály arkangyal, és az összes szentek védelmezzenek minket, minden időben, és pillanatban! Köszönöm, hogy láthattam az angol táj üde zöld szépségét, a tiszta kék égboltot ! A pacsirtát magasan szállni..! Milyen szép az angol falu utcája az ősi falakkal, és a gyönyörű templomaival. Szép a videó borítóképe, ugyanúgy a szerdai videóé is! /Amint lehetőségem lesz, igyekszem támogatni nemes munkádat/Thank You!

A humble request, if I may… If possible, when including original music in your videos, I’d love a link in the description to a page where I can buy a copy of the score. The piece at the end of this video would be divine during communion at my church, or for me to play for myself on a placid rainy day. I’m especially interested in your works for reed organ. We need more newly composed reed organ music. It’s such a beautiful sound, so vocal, and it breaks my heart to see them neglected and unplayed. Contemporary repertoire would help breathe new life into the instruments. Thank you, as always, for your inspiring work.

Convicted of machine breaking during the Swing Riots in Enford in 1830. Transported to Van Diemen's Land (Tasmania) for 7 years with no hope of returning to his destitute family. Not everyone will grasp the full import of this video but the subtext was not lost on me. Wiltshire and its surrounding counties have a long deep history in aviation.
Many of my family have a long hidden history here. From Yeovil through Boscombe Down to Southampton.
Forget area 51. The Yanks have got nothing on us.
I once asked my grandfather if UFO's were real. He was a regular visitor to Boscombe.
He described seeing a huge cigar shaped ship glowing orange in the sky as he drove home across Salisbury plain.
It was his way of saying yes without breaching the official secrets act.
Not long after that Dad took me to a safe house. While he was taking care of official business he told me to go check out the back garden.
To my astonishment and wonder there was a beautiful craft parked on the lawn. Sleek, seamless and bronze in colour. The pilot gave me a look that said " You can look but not touch". A hatch opened and a little boy poked his head out. He showed me a perfectly engineered zero point generator in the palm of his hand. His smile was warm as the sun.
I remember well riding my motor bike home through the piddle Valley and watching a "Meteor" fly over my head and up the valley. Straight and level at cruising speed.
There is magic in the air and whispered secrets in those green valley's.

I was hoping for a patriotic tune for our Independence Day on the 4th or at least a British patriotic hymn for your election held the same day. But I *love* "Morning Has Broken" so that will do for me this week. Thanks, as always from Idaho, USA.

The drone footage is breathtaking--almost as breathtaking as the organ music! The combination of music, church history, poetry, and countryside views is brilliant.

What beautiful chapel and beautifully shown to a wider audience. Thank you for the Buxtehude too!

Love your channel Ben. Durham NC here. combines my love of music, the English country side, architecture. and stone work. Love these old churches. But more importantly,... the cheese and pickle sandwich. One would be hard pressed to find one in a store here in the USA. I am intrigued. Is there a combination of ingredients that is considered traditional or proper British? type of cheese, pickle, bread, condiments? mustard, mayo? ....silly, but I'm curious...lol

I thought I detected wholemeal bread and a tinge of brown Branston pickle. Possibly Cheddar cheese in a sandwich, it behaves so well and gives an extra little bite. I must say I like mine with sharp crumbly Cheddar style cheese and sweet mustard pickle. And always, thin, plain salted crisps. Bon appetit!

A wonderful video, again, but this time for me it was the last piece, music written by yourself (?) & reciting the poem by JG Magee Jr (Royal Canadian Air Force) Brilliant! (JGM Jr's poem written after he flew a Spitfire up to 30k feet. He died in a training accident 3 months later).
