    Power of a Dynamo depends on the strength of its permanent magnet and coil windings, you could increase of decrease voltage by number of turns, but overall power formula which is watts equal current in amps times voltage cannot exceed the strength of magnetic lines of force, the stronger the magnet the higher the power over a certain speed .

    Most probably that bulb taken from a car head light 12V 90W - 120W. Need to increase speed on your modified dynamo that produce its peak output. Fix in a mounting brackets, belt and pulley system.

    may I know why the armature winding wire did not covered with insulation tape?.what is the other black colourd motor connected with armature. just tell us how it works.

    This is not a great upgrade. The voltage is what you need not a current but yes , it is important to have a sligtly bigger current but in this aplication it gives you nothing. The wire that was used is too big in diameter , but the wire in less diameter like 0.5mm or 0.3 something mm it will gave you a lot more voltage with the sligtly less current but not as bad as you've done in this video. I'm telling you this from my own knownledges , I was using a 6V bicycle dynamo with 300mA output current , I upgraded it a little and gave me around 11V and 740mA which is really good..

      pega um multimetro e testa a diferença de potencial por cada 3 voltas em relação à intensidade do campo magnético + absorção magnética do condutor magnético para intensificar as linhas de fluxo. a espessura do fio deve apresentar resistência equivalente ao valor convertido em tensão para que a corrente seja proporcional, ou seja: se a magnetomotriz custar penetrar no cobre não passará tensão, porque o cobre muito grosso apresenta maior resistência de polarização em relação ao cobre fino, fazendo assim menor corrente se a tensão magnética (cogging) não alcançar a polarização completa por instante, exigindo maior frequência da máquina. abraço

      It looks like a Dynamo for a bicycle. So you could pick one up at a lot of places. If you live in the us you can get one at Walmart and if you don't than you can always get one online or locally. Just do a search for bicycle Dynamo and you will get plenty of results.

    Higher current but lower voltage due to fewer turns on the coil. And it's not a dynamo as it generates AC, not DC. Dynamos make DC.

      @@harrytopia282 Bicycle dynamos are incorrectly named, they are really 'magnetos' as they make AC. Real dynamos make DC, alternators make AC. Look it up - alternators make AC which has to be rectified to produce DC for the battery. A dynamo produces DC without the need for a rectifier. Please look it up before making incorrect claims.

Simply put, a device that makes direct current electric power using electromagnetism. It is basically a DC generator. From Edison Tech: 'Dynamo - a device that makes direct current electric power using electromagnetism. From Quora: As a general rule, the following apply: Dynamo - mechanical power in, DC voltage out. Alternator - mechanical power in, AC voltage out (sometimes rectified internally). The Bicycle 'dynamo' is actually a magneto, which DOES produce AC.
