@@kristena9285 Thank you, I’d say it’s WELL worth waiting… please let me know whenever it becomes available, I’ll happily buy it! I would love to do this with my bands!
Its available, I've tried to lead you in the right direction many times but YT won't let me. My comment can't contain any contact info even when I try to conceal it.. It get's deleted..
Not quite. The lyrics are Greek but not the tune. According to "GreekGenocide Resource center" it is a folk song of uncertain origin: quote: "The exact origins of the tune are unknown however it's likely it originated in Asia Minor or Egypt. The first known recording of the song in Greek is in New York in 1927. Nikos Roubanis composed the lyrics and Tetos Demetriades sang the song."
Sorry Julia, but It is not better than the original. It could never be. The original is a masterpiece since roughly 60 years ago in a style which is part of a decade, the 60s. This is just a different version of it, a bit more rich in the textures and instruments. It's great, I loved it, but can't be better!
This is incredible, can’t believe it doesn’t have more attention

Misirlou is not a folk song. It was written by a Greek composer-performer in 1927. Its name means "Egyptian Girl". In Arabic, this is "Bint Misr".
