Thanks for making this video. The 35mm PRX deserves more love from the community. I have a 6.5' wrist and I used to own the 40mm PRX. It felt huge. I didn't look bad, but for me it was big. It felt like a slim G-Shock. I sold it, but wanted to have a PRX in my collection. I tried the 35mm and it wears much better! It actually wears like a 37mm because of the extended lug to lug. This makes it more versatile to dress up if needed. I just wish they had the brushed dials, instead of the sunburst dial, but still looks great! 👍
I have a 6.75” wrist and personally prefer (and own) the 35mm. Seeing a lot of comments saying the 35 is a ladies watch but I just see it as two sizes that the end user gets to choose between. Really can’t go wrong either way IMHO.
My wrist is 6.5 " and I am considering the 35mm too. When I began my watch collection I made the mistake of starting with a 40 and 41.4 mm only to later find out my sweet spot is between 37-39. 35mm got me worried at first but after looking at many videos and comments looks like I would be ok.
Nice video, I'm also waiting for the 35mm automatic version, a few weeks ago I contacted the Tissot page and they confirmed me that they will officially come out after the summer. I can't wait to wear it in silver version on my 6.5 wrist.
One great pro is the bracelet comfort and sizing adjustability. The bracelet is soo comfortable. And the normal links are 6mm and there are two 4mm links. So you can make any 2mm increment length combo with the right mix of links.
It wasn’t all that long ago that bigger men routinely wore smaller watches (think 36mm datejust). I personally don’t see anything wrong with a bigger wristed guy opting for the 35mm. As Bruce noted in this video, the proportions of the integrated bracelet design make the watch appear to sit a big larger than what you would expect. I have a 7.5 inch wrist and have tried on both, for my taste I much prefer the 35 when looking at the prx.
I have a 7in wrist but would prefer the 35mm in auto. I like the 40mm but I think the lug to lug is a little long and even longer with the extended end links.
When it was my turn to choose, I decided for the 40 mm and I have a 18 cm / 7 inches wrist. Even if it wears bigger than the size suggests, the 35 mm looks like a boy watch on my wrist, so I went for the bigger size.
I just went through this myself. I bought the gold in 40 and 35. Tried them both on, compared them, got my wife’s opinion, and I ended up liking the 40 better. It goes to show you, you really need to try them on, because after watching about 15 reviews and reading endless comments, I would’ve decided the 35 would be for me. But it is simply too small for my 7” wrist. At least that’s my personal preference anyway.
I own the exact same 35mm version in green. I love the size on my 7.25” wrist. Seems more like a piece of jewelry than a watch on my wrist which is what I was looking for in this purchase. I own about 12 other watches all varying in size from 35mm-41mm and I find this 35mm to be a great size.
Tissot is an absolute favourite of mine. Especially the PRX. Bruce can you make a video on best watches under $100, would love to see your take on that
Great video. You helped me make my decision. I am actually going to go with the 35mm. I have pretty small wrists for a guy and a 35 on my wrist would look great, like the 40 on yours. I have an old Seiko Quartz as well. It’s 36mm and is the perfect size. I just wanted to see it on an actual mansized wrist, haha.
Nice one Bruce. I'm a fan of Tissot watches, great reliable accurate and value. I also like the PRX as I have the PM80 blue dial and the Valjoux chronograph panda dial and they are fine in my 7" wrist. I did take a look at the 35mm green dial over the winter break and I was almost tempted but cold not justify another watch. I have a Black Bay 36 black dial that works fine on my wrist so that size is covered. Maybe we'll get an announcement before Watches and Wonders on the colours and dial texture of a PM80 35 PRX.
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had the mint quartz PRX in a checkout cart and tell myself, “wait the automatic version is coming”😂 nothing against quartz I own a few quartz watches but, I do prefer a auto if given the choice and if it’s within my budget.
I heard with this watch anything under a 7 inch wrist you should get the 35mm and anything over a 7 inch wrist you should get the 40mm...but idk that's just what I heard
I have a 7.3inch wrist, and for me, the 40 would be big, but the 35mm would be small :D Oh man we watchnutz are a picky bunch :D But i still hope for a 37.5mm version :D
35-37mm for me is the sweet spot, and I don't have skinny wrists. I'm wishing Omega will start making more watches in that size which are JLC thin.... with solid case backs? Man that would be perfection (e.g. omega 1948 kind of look but thinner, better water resist and solid case back)
@@blueseugene6569 not sure if you saw the reply. I'll write again. Love omega vintage. Also try seiko skyliner . You can get them pretty cheap . Lots of good options for vintage seiko from Japan. Perfect thin elegant dressy options
Ehh 40mm is the way to go for me even with integrated bracelets like that. What's the point of getting small watch if it constricts my legibility? I grew up with a cheap 45mm quartz fashion watch so it was long adjustment when I got a 39mm automatic field watch. The dial is smaller but bigger arabics and overall contrast (white arabic on black dial) helped. But I still had to adjust myself.
The 35mm just looks off on my wrist even at 6.5 . 40mm was not as big as the number suggests and fits my smaller wrist quite well. If you’re into historical accurate watches,35mm is definitely the one to go for. But I don’t really care so I went for the better fitting 40mm. If they release a 38mm, I’ll be wasting some more money
Agree on the edgy bracelet. Wish they could soften that edge a bit. Will be buying an aftermarket leather strap for it soon. Other than that I love my 40mm.
Hello, the 35 is OK, but that quartz caliber is not good, really! And that prx font is so annoying and cheap style! The sll brushed bracelet also gives this watch a very cold feeling. The whole package is a very cheap looking and an homage to rolex 1977 oysterquartz. The powermatic is more acceptable, which because of marketing policies they don't want to make them in 35mm yet! Thanks
35 is perfect for a woman, absurd for a men. This trend of going smaller and smaller is sheeple thinking, and a bad move. 36 is too small but I've bought a couple. But it's the smallest I would ever go. And the 36s I've bought, I would have much preferred them to be 40 / 42 instead.

same first I thought the 35mm is too small, I tried the 40mm and it was too big. 35mm should work for most, it looks simply cleaner
Thanks mate! Was figuring out which size suits my 6.5' wrist better.

That’s 35mm green dial looks so cool! Il have to pick one up
38mm would be the best. Beside wrist sizes there is a design matter that screams for a 38mm for this kind of watch.
@Tissot @SwatchGroup we need the PRX in 37-38mm.

Small watches were common sizes for men back in the 70s. It's just that in the past 10-15 years that oversized watches have become the norm.
I have a 18 cm wrist and 35MM is the way to go 👌🏽
Wonder what the delay is for a unisex or men's 35mm auto. They've had the women's gold/fluted bezel for over half a year now.
i wonder which color is the best for 35mm. this green one or icy blue?

A very solid offering Tissot

Having an 8" wrist 35 looks way too small on me for my tastes. I like 40-42 generally but I guess it's up to the individual.

My gf only wears swatch and a seiko tank. I kinda wanna see if she’ll wear the 35 on this one.
Got 35MM for my 7inch wrist....just because 70s look and gold should carry elegance than bulky in my opinion.40MM good too.35MM IS JUST BETTER

Tissot do a seastar 1000 quartz now in 36mm.
Some integrated bracelets look effeminate on the wrist, especially in gold. Not that there is anything wrong with that.
