Someone said Battle Beast being there is like some random gangster hiring Doomsday to be his guard and after reading the comic that man was totally right. Battle Beast is truly a beast
I think the scariest thing in this episode wasn’t marks mom risking getting caught snooping or even mark almost dying, but the fact that Battle Beast showed how scary things in this universe are. We know how strong mark is, especially when he snaps, but the fact that this random Warrior-Cat man from outer space shrugged him off like nothing is horrifying, what else is out there?
'Omni-Man reported a body' HellBoy: I saw Omni-Man Vent Cecil: I don't know.. Debbie: He wouldn't do that Omni-Man: Come on guys you know me 'HellBoy was ejected.'
I'd honestly even say he's the rare True Neutral. He does have a sense of honor and fair play when it comes to battle, which may not be much normally but it's in big homie's name. And while he is hardly above taking on work for evil men to get a fight worth his time, I think he frankly doesn't care in a "law vs chaos" sense of things. All there is for him in the honor and glory of pitched combat, he lives for an exciting fight. Right side of the law or wrong, good or evil, it doesn't matter as long as the battle makes his blood boil. Which is a very interesting way of achieving True Neutral status imo, rather than falling into the primarily impassive pitfall that alignment has.
Yeah no. At this point in the story, nobody knows how strong Battle Beast is. Hell, Battle Beast doesn’t even know yet, that’s why he’s trying to test himself
I love the fact that Omniman doesn't even bother to walk around his house, he just hovers everywhere when he's not thinking about it. Like Hayden Christensens character in Jumper teleporting a couple a feet so he doesn't have to walk across a room, or from one end of a couch to another.
Its weird because people think it was the teamwork that won it. But it was likely the simple fact that Battle Beast stopped helping and was just standing there.
And thats why I love his name being “Invincible” because like, despite getting his ass kicked so much he still manages to make it out alive and keeps his Spirit up.
Meet Battle Beast (the big white lion). That guy is no joke. He is the most powerful being in Invincible universe and rivals thr most powerful viltrumite pound for pound. Omni-Man would have been murdered brutally if he interfered😂
at this point, it would've been a more even fight, though depending on the circumstances BB would still probably win. It depends on if Nolan negotiates with him or not. "Hey you want the best challenge, right? Teleport us both (or meet me at) to the moon (or whatever) right quick so I can fight without having to hold back." If Nolan can go all out, he MIGHT be able to win at this point but it would be a brutal slog. But if he's fighting on Earth, he'll definitely lose.
Which is also funny because the first volume of Invincible is called 'Family Matters', and almost every volume that collects the issues is named after an old tv show.
Fun fact: Mark’s high school is called Reginald Vel Johnson High, and his principal is Principal Winslow. Reginald Vel Johnson is the actor who plays the father, Carl Winslow, in the 90’s sitcom Family Matters, and he is also the voice actor for Principal Winslow.
It's amazing how they can take a villain we only saw in episode 1 as Invincibles first fight and transform him into a great Anti-hero character. Really shows how great the writing is in this series. Keep up the great work queen :)

That would wreck her, but it's a bloody good show, and it ran before Arcane. Season 3 ending aside, I strongly recommend it. Hoping to watch the last fseason finally, and with novelty ice skulls in cider for that last taste of Fall.
Side note, has she seen Arcane on her own time?
“The more that the show has developed, I think her and Mark would be a good fit”
Hmm🤔
39:49 Why didn't he threw it in the Sun!? Or anywhere else? Anywhere on the solar system was a better hiding spot than his own house
I think he secretly wanted to be caught because he’s had enough with viltrumite bullshit
Plus a satellite could have seen him. He would have good timing and a plan
I thought the same thing at first
AMOGUS.
Is that mob-boss robot-man also the voice of Snowball/Snuffles from Rick and Morty? (S1E2)
16:55- It's been like, a month, maybe a month and a half.
I love Alicia 😍❤️
Gun Devil 😟
Ah yes. Jiggle physics 🤭
Also a little snack for the ALGORITHM GWADS 😂
I K I'm like a lil late for this, but will you be ever reacting to arcane? every scene/ frame is like a visual orgasm; literally every major character is morally fkin grey and complex.....like looking at your analyses to cinematography and pacing in other shows, you're gonna have a wild fkin ride.
I've really enjoyed thus far how you critically analyze EVERYTHING. This series and especially your analysation of the Chainsaw Man opening have cemented you as a staple for critical views. I look forward to seeing more.
feeding algorithm da juicee
MAAAnn... this whole "whos the clone" thing is so dumb and mute (but funny!) ... all he would have to say is "Dude, remember laying down ON THIS BENCH? YEA I THOUGHT SO, I'M THE ORIGINAL!"
That’s battle beast for you 😐
*DEBBIEHANDSMARKABOWLOFPOTATOES*
You should DEFINITLY react to *The Boys* next
Okay so there is going to be a scene in either ep6 or ep7 that will make or break you likeness of amber. It was a very controversial scene that put her in a negative position in peoples eyes
Boost
And Alicia finally met the worst character in the show, Eve’s dad sucks, honestly
Eve's parents are the worst: they are sexist, manipulative, controlling and that kind of people who use religion to make themselves look good while at the same time look down on others, they just toned them down a bit for the animated series.
Spoilers, read at your own discretion.
Given that the continuity of this animated series is not guaranteed, I'll let you know that Mark and Eve eventually get together and have a baby girl and name Terra.
I know where your family lives
