I realized recently if Imakuni isn't showing up you need to talk to an NPC in the Water Club. After that save and reload the game. Then you can start the farm. Update: also if the challenge cup isn't spawning no matter how many times you reset. Try winning a duel between resets. You can use the insta-duel cheat if you're open to cheats or just beat imakuni's deck.
As far as I’m aware he also appears in the Psychic Club. He appears in every Club where he can leave the room without stepping over another NPC (including NPCs that already left, so fire clubs energy slowpoke NPC still blocks Inakuni after leaving)

@@deadlineuniverse3189 Fair enough. Though I'm pretty sure you were right about him not spawning in clubs where his path is blocked. I think the 4 I mentioned are the only one's where it is a clear path.
Interesting. The challenge cup should have scripted appearances before though. After X medals. Because you're supposed to be able to duel the rival there at certain spots. After those are done I thought it was RNG but I guess not.
I have tried to get the challenge hall to spawn over 30 times...I've gotten the legendary cards and beat the game. But never had a challenge hall spawn. Any ideas?
Weird it's supposed to open consistently after the fifth medal. You do have to save again everytime you load in for it to work so if you're loading the same save over and over again it won't work.
I recently tried doing my own trick and it wouldn't spawn. I realized the reason it did was because I beat imakuni everytime I loaded up a save. Try winning an easy duel and then restart. There's an instawin trick if you don't care to cheat and if you want to win legit imakuni gives a lot of cards for your time.
You get that from the second rival duel. It is obtainable from challenge cup. If you rewind to the win/lose screen you can re-randomize the promo card you get.

The source video I got the info from says he only shows up at the 4 I've mentioned and I've only ever seen him at those 4.

For real. That's why I say farm him out early on because you get 4 packs at a time then you can target onto specific packs for the rarer cards.
