Angola rower secures spot for Paris Olympics| VOA Africa

  • Andre Matias, an Angolan rower who participated in the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympic games that were held in Brazil, says he briefly retired from the sport.
    However, the southern African athlete was motivated to return after he secured a spot to compete in this year’s Olympic Games that are scheduled to be held in France’s capital, Paris, from July 26 - August 11.
