5:17 wrong, no one asks about your identity to enter. These tour guides make up random stories to entertain their guests. I have been there, the main line to enter the kund was long, we waited for 2 hours. It was so crowded that they didn't allow anyone to stay for long there, so some people who want to take full bath with soap and all, bath outside. Anyways I hope you had good pilgrimage and took good memories from it.
The tour guided misinformed you there- untouchability is not practiced in Hindu dharma, it lies decadent and destroyed and anyone if dares practise it has legal punitive sanctions against him/her under Article 17 of Indian Constitution as well as SC/ST prevention of atrocities act and Prevention of Civil Liberties Act. So please get your facts right before misinforming people.
Lies, it's still prevalent, just ask the Dalits and the chamars etc. Not to mention how racist India is. You call East Asians chinkys and black people baby eaters. Its buddha's infinite compassion that he chose to be born in the dirtiest pond on earth and still blossom and flourish to benefit sentient beings, like the lotus flower.
We apologise that due to how the video was edited, it seems that the message was misinterpreted. The mention of caste system in the video is not tied to religion but a phenomena that *was* prevalent in India. As per Article 17, Constitution of India 1950, “Untouchability” is abolished and its practice in any form is forbidden.
🙏🙏🙏👍
