    It's so beautiful I'd have to take the chance to see it. If I died I would've been able to firsthand experience something most won't ever see.

    This seems like an adventurous tour. And, a very well documented trip. I represent a US-based web news channel, and we would like to use this video in our distribution network. Please share your email id, so that we can discuss this further

    Hi! I'm a social media intern at Extreme and this video is awesome!
    I was wondering whether we could post it on our Extreme Adventure Facebook page? (And potentially our main Extreme page) We will give you full credit and post the original link in the top comments :)
    Please let me know, and if so are we able to cut it down slightly?
    Thanks
    Rav

      Not really, the ice is changing a lot during then. But Icelandic mountain guides do have one at the moment. But it's a 3 walk.

    Was it a difficult hike? Trying to decide If I should go for it or not.

    • @ZappVonAwesome
      @ZappVonAwesome  6 лет назад

      Realist Not at all. They drive as close as they can, right up onto the glacier. We only had to walk about a half mile or so.

    • @Krasinski1

      Why do the tours say 4.5-6 Hours?

    • @ZappVonAwesome
      @ZappVonAwesome  6 лет назад +2

      Well, there's the ride in the van which can take a while since you're completely off road. Other stuff like making sure everyone has a helmet, crampons, etc. A little bit of walking, plus 90 minutes or so in the cave... it adds up. I think our whole tour was probably only 4 hours total. Every year the caves are different because the glacier melts and changes. The guides go out this time of year and scout out the caves and routes, so a lot would still be unknown about this winter's tours. Sometimes they probably have to travel further to find a suitable cave. Could be the reason the the big time window there.
