- An animal smuggling deal involving Sheriff Robert Davi goes wrong, resulting in a man-eating shark escaping into a backwoods river. After a local man is found eaten, restaurant owner Kristy Swanson's pack of pet alligators get the blame. Unable to convince anyone of the real danger, she sets out to hunt down the shark with the help of her co-workers and D.B. Sweeney.

Dude. Same wavelength! I had a fun time with this movie (well, compared to my other Shark movie reviews!) There are a lot of Syfy shark movies, and this is the cream... Well, maybe not, but its better that 90% of the shark movies out there!
If this one is the best, I'm worried about the rest of the month!

You're lucky that he picked a halfway decent shark attack movie for you Eric. Swamp Shark is your typical Syfy-made horror film that, for once, decent acting, some ok blood and gore but terrible CGI effects.
I was expecting a lot worse and I'm sure I'll get it as the weeks go on. This was SOMEWHAT of a pleasant surprise.
