      And like if the person is 'love bombing' with buying all that stuff aka "showering with gifts" you'd definitely be thinking about their affordability and their end game. Both reasons to be skeptical.
      Like you'd have to be intentionally ignoring the flags whatever colour they turn about to be and not be question it and while for some people especially very young people this is a possibility, those in the dating game for a while should be able to notice parts of it at least.

    Why do people get so involved in other peoples lives??

  • @peacewillow
    @peacewillow 2 года назад +1

    emotional manipulation has become the most popular form of "social justice".
    no one is ever supposed to say no to you, or have a different opinion than you do.
    no one is allowed to be "mean" to you or make you feel "bad".
    problem is, there are too many people, each with their own perspective and agenda, to make anyone's life conflict free, unless you totally isolate yourself from the world.
    this is an extreme form of selfishness that shows no sign of ending any time soon. 😔

    "Rejection is not abuse"
    Rejection should not be abuse like how criticism should not be abuse but most criticism is destructive criticism from a motivation of contempt.
    It could be abuse, it depends greatly on how we reject people. There is a massive amount of destructive criticism used to reject people in our dating community these days.
    Simple, cookie-cutter advice like this is very toxic.
    If people actually believe that all rejection is never abuse or will cause massive harm as people that live to give destructive criticism an area where they have no accountability. If rejection is NEVER abuse then when they reject someone they will be as horrible as they want to.
    Is someone gives empathetic and respectful rejection, then there is no abuse. They should be as accurate as possible to help the person understand why they think they are not a great fit.
