QOTD : My first thought on this meta I want to try smack down Chestnaught for safe swap but sadly double super effective wing attack is so opressive that you can only flip matchup against Charizard but not other fliers.
I tried exactly this in UL a couple of seasons ago and it was unfortunately disappointing. Fun to see flyers switching in to Smack Downs, but ultimately not worth it
QotD - A favorite surprise fast move I would have to say Granbull with Snarl. It is so much better than Charm because Granbull hits extremely hard and it will almost always force them to use a shield. Very good because it also baits out Steel Types because they would expect a Charm user but it is not.
Wait Pangoro learns Bullet Punch 👀👀. I built my GL one this season. Also, congrats! QOTD: I'm guessing Greedent with Tackle, but in limited metas. Dubwool would be better, but I don't have one, so I'm gonna try to get one for GL this weekend. Also, the recommended PvPoke move for Slurpuff is Charm, but I'm never gonna run it with Charm, and Fairy Wind seems more consistent. I never used my Slurpuff because I onlt built it this season, but it seems like a really underrated mon
QOTD: Snarl Shadow Granbull is what i used for the single-type cup, usually i saw steel types swap in and i nuked them with close combat Also crunch baiting is good because people shield when granbull is out and it can lower the defense
Charge Beam on Clefable, it gave some nightmares to water-types and Mawile users in the Spring Cup, besides charging faster for itS charge moves than Charm ever could.
QOTD: dragon breath charizard in the UL. Since I got the CD move on my shiny, I really don't wanna tm it away. But it's a fun surprise when the opponent switches into a giratina or dragonite 😁
Qotd: fire fang zacian I've just submitted you battles of me using a team with Galarian ponyta, melmetal and excadrill in the remix cup. Would the team be spicy enough?
QOTD: close combat staraptor nobody would expect it they would expect brave bird which I also have an aggron almost won the game one time and he had one shield and he thought it was aerial ace and it was close combat double super effective!
Imo Carbink is way weaker than people make it out to be. It's extremely inflexible, similarly to bastiodon. It's bad match ups are REAL BAD. You can't do anything except watching your opponent mercilessly farm you down. Giga broken Gfisk remains the strongest pokemon.
QOTD: Not a fast move but I’ve been using gyro ball on my shadow a slash instead of ice punch and I’ve won so many battles by catching different fairies off guard. I climbed 250 elo in 5 sets today going 5-0,4-1,4-1,3-2,5-0
Another vid. Even tho you're running counters to carbink there's been almost no need to charge move to kill it. Carbink is over hyped. Definitely not a top threat. Most the regular meta we have kills it. I'm sure Scrafty can in the zeros
I purified mine. I held off for a good while. But then decided to add it to my hundo collection. Mine was a shadow Zubat instead tho. Now it's a Golbat. & That's where is gonna remain. Lol
I think I did this before there was any bonus for leaving a Pokemon in its shadow form tbh. If you want to use it in the UL you could purify it, or just use it as a shadow
Any reason for the hundo golbat? Not saying IVs win games just curious. Nice catch on the hundo shadow tho QOTD: Dragon tail arbok! Haxorus users stay in the matchup for too long and it lets you beat poison types in 1v1 😂
I think when I built it, it was the only Zubat I had kept because I purified a lot for the cheap purification for various team rocket tasks & then mass transferred them. I have one other purified Golbat but I gave it the legacy ominous wind back when I was doing Team Rocket challenge content, & it's obviously just not that good of a move anymore but I don't want to get rid of it.
Too bad I didn't make it to the battle compilation... We queued into one another the other night. A really close game and your team is obviously way cooler than mine! GG!
Could you explain why at 1:46 you can in with Lucario to "predict the instant switch"? It seems really bad to me because if they don't switch you just gave up switch and if you come in with Golbat you could just switch if they switch so it would be the same thing anyway.
Because from that range Golbat completely farms them down, so they have to switch out. This means I'm not giving up switch at all, because worst case scenario it's something in the back that beats Lucario, I just swap into Golbat, but based on their team comp I expected an anti flyer in the back. You saw at the end they were in range to be counter farmed down by Lucario too, so it was a low risk play. Now let's say they had something in the back that typically loses to Lucario, but with a slight energy advantage & because I'm running close combat (so I'm a bit slower to the charged moves) they then outpace to 2 moves because it took me a second or 2 to swap out, I'm then in a really bad position.

It was a good strat before the wing attack buff & Pokemon like Talonflame were the stronger flying types
Facts, and the swampert matchup gets so much worse.
QOTD: Liepard getting charm as a dark type....
I have rank 1
Latias getting it as a dragon.
Or hippopotas has it too
Umbreon has charm in the main series games, hopefully it gets ut soon
Bro tell me why tyrantum has charm?

Awesome video! I've tried a similar approach running bullet punch Machamp. QOTD: Steel wing Skarmory.
ive been using regirock, galvantula with fury cutter, and whimsicott with grass knot for retro cup.
Id love to see you try it
LGS (Little Guy Society) approves this message because of Whimsicott.

Clefable gets fairy wind. Do not run charge beam plz
@@chasebootz that was before it got Fairy Wind. But anyway, was a better move for me In a specific cup: the Spring Cup (water, fairy, poison, grass)
I love a good flash cannon skarmory, In the mountain cup they would usually counter swap mawile and get one shot
Does Mawile get one shot by flash Cannon???

Close combat + poisin fang + shadow ball....and Carbink still alive.... What the hell...

QOTD: I have found that bug bite (elite TM) beedril can be good
QOTD: Togekiss with Air Slash. When venusaur was running the UL meta, safeswapping an air slash togekiss would catch so many people off guard
QOTD: I've had some fun destroying flyers with smack down on Chesnaught as a safe swap in the great league.

QOTD actually Pangoro with rock slide in the UL
Advice from me “dont let your pokemon die first”

QOTD: Quick Attack Sylveon. It generates energy much faster than Charm, letting it get to Psyshock faster and threaten Poison type Pokemon

QOTD: Fire Fang Zacian!
I gotta see like an iron tail tyranitar
Cheers toast man
Metal claw g fisk 🕶️
The Magneton, Whimsicott, and Victreebeel team - the "fire types don't exist" team
QOTD: shadow donphan. It is weak to fighting but it has charm
Bite T-tar is so fun in the masters
Is 1,114 strong enough for Carbink
QOTD: snarl granbull for sure. Get the registeel out and go to town with close combats
I use agron to counter carbink using iron tail as my fast move, meteor beam, and heavy slam I lost quite some elo but I had lots of fun using aggron
are you going to XL and best buddy that hundo golbat for the ultra league?
Maybe one day. I think I purified this before shadow Pokemon were given the damage adjustments.
Pogo always reminds me no matter how big fish you are, there is always a bigger fish
I have a 13/15/15 shadow Golbat, is it worth purifying? Im tempted

QOTD gallade with charm
Close combat plus a poison fang then a shadow ball from lucario kills carbink. I guess that's good to know
Well enough to take out a likely underleveled Carbink
Close combat on the lucario was genius!! 😊
For me the best Curvink counter is Ferothorn
QOTD: charm Gallade😂
