Actually people get complimented for covering it up really smoothly, which he didn't do in this case. I don't think there has ever been anyone that stopped singing in a live show. Personally, I wouldn't even think about the screw up with how amazing the second part was.

As a singer myself, I know that this guy has a voice that's better than about 95 percent of the male singers that are active today. No autotune necessary to hit the high notes without going flat. If you watch a lot of the current singers on stage, it doesn't take very long to realize that some of them can't carry a tune in a water bucket singing live. This guy, Calum Scott is note perfect. Everybody screws up on stage at some point, shit happens. He recovered like a professional.

The first time I heard this song I thought nothing of it then one day I was driving and I suddenly got it. I just watch the fancy produced single version and then watched this one, I had never seen or heard it. It beats the hell out of the produced version, the rawness and accent and nerves and passion he sings with is absolutely perfect for this song and should be released as a single just as it is, it is amazing!

go back and watch the season again, a lot of the time Simon doesn't stand when all 3 other judges are. Doesn't mean he was annoyed. Just can't be fucked. This show has made the standing ovation a common occurrence, doesn't have the same effect it used to.

He has so many videos out and has been contacted my hundreds if not thousands of record labels companies that wanted him to sign up with them for life with his incredible voice. Remember Susan Boyle messed up in her final song when she coughed singing her final song! The same song she sang in her Audition she sang in the finals. She became a global star right away! Calum Scott is now a HUGE SUCCESS! So runner ups do become the big stars as well! Even bigger than the winner 9/10 times! Good things happen to good people. He's very humble to this day.

calum's voice is just out of this world! His voice reminds me of Phil Collins but the better version!i don't care about the first half of the song, mistakes are bound to be made in live performances but that does not take away the fact how amazing his voice is the way he play with words with variations! he absolutely smashed this song. To me he is a winner.
