I'm actually surprised that lots of people didn't bring up "Tori Gets Stuck," as a Bottom of the Bakery potential, which shows Jade at her absolute worst (endangering Tori's life just because she wants her part in a play), is ridiculous for how terrible the doctors are and plays serious medical conditions (mental illness, intestine blockage, and massive blood loss) for laughs.
I remember that episode, but I don't remember them making fun of mental illness in it...
(Also, come to think of it, how did they get away with showing that much blood in a kid's show?)
+Nitro Indigo The doctors think Cat is insane because of how she describes Tori's situation, and then interpret all her ditzy behavior as serious mental illness.
I forgot that part of the episode. Strange. I always found most of the characters in Victorious annoying, though.
There's a lot of episodes where Jade is a bad character. And Tori Gets Stuck is Jade at her worst. What's worse is Tori loses 3 PINTS of blood and Jade gets NO punishment for her actions aside from not being able to go on stage. Which is a weak punishment for someone who tried to murder someone! And she's so petty and spiteful toward Tori for largely NO reason.

Also have Jade at her worst. In *Gorilla Club* Jade makes Tori into a Dare Devil for why? Just to see Tori get mauled by a Gorilla, and Tori ends up in a cast from the waste up and it causes Tori lose her position in a huge acting gig she got assigned for.
In *Driving Tori Crazy* she literally tries driving Tori into the middle of nowhere purposely to bury Tori alive. The joke is even told dead straight. When Tori jumps out of the car scared Jade looks at her shovel in the backseat and goes (*Next Time*)

Jade keeps Tory's spot on the show while Tory storms off. Jade gets humiliated by having stuff dumped on her head and the episode ends with Tori watching at home laughing.
There you go professional writers! I just fixed you plot in five minutes! You probably had a couple weeks. Good job guys!
you know people don't have to deserve bad things for them to be funny also isn't that a little too ridged also part of Tori's character is that she is the straight man but she is the butt of every joke so that would be out of character for Tori and it wouldn't be victorious anymore
Fair enough. I was more just pointing out how easy it is to make something a little more cohesive. The writers could have come up with a better plot. But they didn't!

icecream hero I'm going to have to disagree with you on that. The *situations* these characters are put in don't always make sense (Spongebob becoming a chocolate bar salesman, or Homer quitting his job to become a clown) but the jokes themselves do. They're often topical to the subject matter the writers throw them in. For example, Spongebob visits customers who each have different reactions to being sold chocolate, from scam artists to actual insane people. The jokes themselves don't work well if there's no lead-up or connection to the story, which is why a lot of Schneider's "lol random" jokes fall flat. At least, that's my two sense.

About Trina's character, to be quite honest I found myself feeling sorry for Trina in the later seasons. Every single character got flanderized or "Took a Level in Jerkass" depending on what the episode wanted them to be. Sure Trina is one-dimensional and obnoxious there's no denying that. But honestly the characters in the later seasons take their hatred of her too far where she essentially becomes Meg Griffin of the show. Tori and Jade have done far worse horrible things than Trina. Cat in Season 1 was actually relatively smart, she just lacked common sense in some areas and was quirky.
For example in the episode *Ice Scream for Kesha* while Trina is obnoxious in the first have of the episode. In the 2nd half she does nothing wrong, Tori and her friends use this kid so that he can get them the last letter for Kesha to perform, they promised him a kiss and didn't give it to him, they just locked him outside of Tori's house in a very unpleasant way. They essentially get away with using a kid. Trina actually feels bad and tries to give him one. There's also Trina being the reason Tori even got into Hollywood arts.

Honestly, even in the later seasons, I still hated Trina. She was a lot more mean in Season 4 and like before, she was never funny. Also, I wonder what happened to Cat in the later seasons. Her attitude, her acting, her looks, everything sucks.
Mighty E True Trina was more mean in later seasons. I did hate Trina myself in some episodes, however I was talking about her treatment when it comes to the other main characters. For example a lot of the main characters in the later seasons would act s mean-spirited and cruel to Trina.
In one episode *The Worst Couple* Jade literally throws a Pillow at Trina simply for trying to tell everyone that she was being rude in saying "No one likes her" then Jade says "next time its a hammer"
Or like how a lot of the characters treated her in "Who did it to Trina" Rex sabotages and severely injures Trina, has Robbie cover for him simply because Trina wacked him in the face. Yes its rude to do that, but to almost make someone get severely injured by disabling their bungie cord when Trina's acting scene required her to fly around on it?
Don't get me wrong though Trina can defiantly be obnoxious and even though I feel bad for how characters treat her, that doesn't mean I don't agree when others find her obnoxious.
The issue is that they tried to justify the mistreatment of Trina by making her even less likeable rather than simply toning the abuse down, which just results in not liking any party.

Because of it's cruel overtone. In *Tori Gets Stuck* it has a plot that is very cruel and very weak with its structures. It features Jade at her absolute worst! What happens is Tori gets picked for a lead role in a play, so Jade outright throws a bitchfit simply because Tori got the lead in a simple play and she became Tori's understudy. Then all of them get a notification that Robbie is in the hospital and needs surgery, so he needed a blood donation for his operation. Jade volunteers Tori while claiming to have looked at Tori's medical files for malicious purposes! So what does Jade do? She takes the donated blood of Tori's and misplaces it in a different location while the doctors weren't looking and it sets of a chain of events where Tori has to keep giving/losing more blood to help Robbie.
Tori loses 3 PINTS OF BLOOD because of Jade's actions. So in summary Jade was willing to almost have Tori killed by putting her life in danger by making her lose 3 Pints of Blood, and also endangered Robbie in the process who needed that blood for an operation. And she did all that just because she didn't get the part in a simple play and because of her petty spitefulness of Tori. And Jade gets NO punishment for essentially almost committing murder. Also the doctors were unrealistic with how they were portrayed in everything. Not only did they dismiss Tori's worry of losing blood, but they didn't even know about what to do with medical records and let Jade (a teenager) dictate their decisions for the operation.
That's the main issue with Jade, she often has NO reason to hate Tori (with the only exceptions being *Prom Wrecker and because Tori is a Sue to a degree*) and will got to so much as petty lengths to sabotage Tori. (*Jade was somewhat likable in Season 1 because she was snarky and sarcastic, but outside of that she's unlikable from Season 2 onward*) To make matters worse, they add in a subplot where Trina is trying to get tuberculosis so her acting performance can be better when playing a sick person, this leads to Trina actually getting tuberculosis and what's worse NONE OF the characters feel any sort of empathy for Trina, they try to cover up her actual sickliness by having the teacher dress up as a woman and take Tori's spot due to Tori passing out from losing so much blood.
+CodeBox42 what about Tori And Jade's play date? In the episode, their is a play made by Mr.S ,and Tori plays the lethargic male astronaut that returns home and Jade plays the astronaut's loving wife while Beck and Andre play the twins(which leads to a funny moment where when they're picked, Andre says something funny to poke fun at the fact that Andre, who's black and Beck, who's at the very least light skinned, play twins!) So at the first practice for the play, Tori and Jade try to read their lines, but Jade and Tori begin to argue with each other, leading Sikowitz to force them to go on a fake date, that's what he says,really, so they go on a fake date together,(while Sinjin and his creepy friend spy on Tori and Jade,as they were told to from Sikowitz,so J and T don't leave the restaurant) and then two guys about their age creepily start to flirt with them,and when they have it up to here with these guys,Jade and Tori take over Kareoke and sing "Take a Hint"( which is a stupid song in my opinion) and the guys leave them alone. The next day, Tori and Jade( and Beck and Andre) put on the play and do a good job. And the episode ends with Jade and Tori spotting the same two creepy guys and running out of the room. There were some 🌈 vibes in this episode between Jade and Tori,and I love it! 8/10!

Hey PieGuy! Now that you've done an episode about a game show in Victorious that has no legitimate story, there's actually a great Bizarro Bakery counterpart I would recommend- the episode "The Worst Couple." The characters compete in another game show, but this time, without giving much away, there are lasting repercussions from the competition on them. And by lasting, I mean, they carried over for multiple episodes, stretching out all the way to the next season. As a bonus, the way they continued to deal with this storyline was honestly rather mature; when you look at the first episode, you'd think it would resolve itself in a very different way. But the characters take the moral high road, and it's probably my favorite aspect of the whole series in retrospect. Check it out and see for yourself!

I completely agree with this review. Another reason I hated this episode was the logic of how Tori chose her friends. She chooses Beck, Andre and Robbie because Jade and Trina annoyed her. Yet the moment Tori gets to the studio and Jade goes there falsely IDing herself as Tori NONE of Tori's friends or even her sister bother to even back up. Like they never said anything, they never bothered to say Jade was committing fraud in Tori's name. They never called her out. Yet when all the random stuff happens to them in the game show all of them get mad at Tori for their misfortunes! Like Tori outright APOLOGIZES to her friends for all the random Doinks that happened to them, then Jade just puts all the blame on Tori wishing the same would happen to her and her friends follow suit and blame Tori for their situation. Even though she had no idea.
What's even more insulting is Tori outright tells the security guard OUT LOUD that Jade made a fake ID with her name on it (if someone literally points out they made a fake ID that's already a red flag) what's worse is that Jade doesn't even deny this and all of Tori's friends just get interested in the fact Jade made a fake ID instead of defending Tori. This is another one of those instances where Jade is a petty and spiteful person. Jade also does something horrible when she tells a lie to Tori about her mother going to jail because they're poor, just to guilt trip Tori into picking her. And in the game show itself Beck just decides not to answer a question for no reason, then when he gets it wrong he gets frustrated that he didn't answer the question. Also Jade gets a question about a movie "The Scissoring" a movie that's been described as something Jade knows by heart, yet can't even answer the question asked about it. Also Sinjin tries to answer a question, but as he's about to answer it he gets Doinked for no reason!
Tori Gets Stuck features Jade at her absolute worst! As well as Gorilla Club, Driving Tori Crazy (which is a Tori Torture episode)
And besides, even if Tori doesn't have a drivers' license, how is it possible that she has NO type of photo ID at all??

Also, why is it that no one seems to understand that you don't need a driver's license to have an ID? They make non-driver license IDs for this exact reason!
Hell, wouldn't you have some kind of ID to get a learner's permit since you need professional instruction before you can take the proper test and all?

I recall there being an episode of ICarly where Carly and her boyfriend of the week mock a relative of the boyfriend for being 18 and not having a lisence.
Clearly somebody on the writing team feels you should have your license ASAP
And please, please review the episode where Tori kept having to give blood to Robbie. It was uncomfortable and somewhat disturbing to see people's reactions to Tori giving almost all of her blood and passing out. And of course, the scene with Robbie spewing blood on Tori...(shudders)

This episode is basically a Japanese Game Show, but worse.

I still can't believe that Ariana Grande, who obviously played Cat, went on to become one of the nation's biggest pop stars right now.
I know this isn't the first time a former kid's show actress had mainstream success as a recording artist (Hilary Duff, Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato, Selena Gomez), but those were all Disney stars. And their music was pretty easy to not take as seriously as legitimate pop music and you never took them as legitimate pop stars. It's hard to think of any of those artists and not be subconsciously reminded that they were former teen actresses on a stupid kid's sitcom.
But it's just so weird to remember watching this show with my younger cousin growing up and seeing Cat become this legitimate pop star that people actually take seriously as a pop star. I like a few of her songs, too, which is even more surprising.
What about Justin Timberlake he was a disney Star, So was christina aguilera

Well, my least favourite Victorious episode is "Tori Gets Stuck", where Jade doesn't get any punishment except not being able to be in the play. She didn't even get detention or anything. Tori could've died!

Man this is a baaaaaaaaad episode. It doesn't even seem real, it's like someone doing a parody of what they think a dan Schneider show is like. Overall I would say while victorious is by no means perfect it's one of those shows I wouldn't mind watching.
There's only one part I can remember from the Breakfast Club parody episode. "You mess with the cow! You get the udders!" I have to admit I lost it at that point XD

After the first season of Victorious, the show started to show signs of how bad the show was getting and how Dan is losing his touch in making comedy (for me).
What a way to start Victorious on BotB! I've said this before and I'll say it again. This is one of the cruelest episodes of any TV show I've ever seen. I've rarely seen an episode have such contempt for characters it really shouldn't have contempt for. I was quite excited to see you upload this and I'm looking forward to more Victorious BotB episodes in the future. Shouldn't be hard to find some; pretty much everything in the last season was awful.
Honestly I wanted to maybe pick up Victorious as a sort of rebound when iCarly ended but it was just to stupid and unfunny and was the start of the road to where we are now with the Schneider's Bakery shows, not saying that the past ones were one hundred percent perfect but they actually had good writing and good characters. Victorious is not as bad as some of the shows other shows later down the pipe like Henry Danger and that god awful abridged spinoff of iCarly and Victorious Sam and Cat. I think it might just be the case of after making really great shows like Zoey 101, Drake and Josh and iCarly they just got burnt out and started burning more and more pies. Amazing job as always PieGuy I love your work as it is so simple and yet eye catching you can really focus on what you are trying to say and your analysis's, which are top notch by the way I can totally understand where you come from on every situation. I try to be smart with my analysis's and it usually takes a while but they turn out very good in the end, cause knowing what you are talking aboot is always better than just sounding what you are talking aboot. I loved iCarly man I would watch it every day after school. I practically grew up with them and when it ended I was quite sad, I remember the build up for the last episode iGoodbye man that was so sad. Great channel man keep it up, totally subbed.
Thanks man and yea first it was Drake and Josh for me and then when iCarly came along my little child mind thought that Megan from Drake and Josh was the same character in iCarly and there are some crazy conspiracy theories out there of how like Crazy Steve from Drake and Josh kidnapped Megan and brainwashed to think she was his sister or other crazy stuff like that it as actual real thought provoking stuff.
Man Zoey 101 was the shit man. That show was drippin (gold star to who gets that). I saw it on family channel and not actually YTV or nick for all you Americans.
OMG drippin. That was the word that Micheal (the black guy on the show for those of you who don't remember) was trying to make a thing. Man I remember after I saw that episode, for like a year straight I made an effort to make that word popular at my school.

Victorious I think suffered the worse from the big Schneider’s bakery drop. iCarly too but not as obvious, Victorious’ first season was grounded but still felt like a Schneider show, but somewhere after that and the second half of iCarly the Bakery changed, all the characters just became incredibly unlikable and beyond stupid. Victorious was already at the time the wackiest of the Bakery’s shows before the big drop, and afterwards the show wrecked. Cat is just unwatchable, Jade don’t even get me started, Trina even more annoying, Beck tries to hard, Tori just got tortured in almost every episode for NO. REASON, they didn’t make her more and more cocky as the show went on (which would have been interesting) but I feel Andre suffered the most, everything about him from his demeanor to his attitude to his grandmother just went south. It’s sad to say but I really do feel Victorious is the black sheep of Schneider’s Bakery (even more than Game Shakers)
I actually think this is the best episode of Victorious. Why? Because the Victorious cast are horrible people, and you get to see them in pain! What's not to love?

jade is...a sam that hates the carly in an alternate universe. that's all i have to say. she's moody, annoying and selfish when things don't go her way and constantly sabotages tori, mostly getting away with it. every punishment she gets in this episode she honestly deserves.

yeah. i can always tell what season of victorious it is by kat's looks. I really feel like they dumbed her down alot in the later seasons. it makes me wonder what the show would be like if Kat stayed the way she was in the first season
I mean seriously. Was it a directing choice of her behavior or what? It just confuses me how Victorious got worse in so many ways in Season 3 & 4.

She was basically like the female Patrick of Victorious (being a bit of an oaf but also being somewhat reasonable with her way of thinking) and like Patrick, she just became a complete dumbass and probably should've changed her hair color to blonde at that point, and that joke at the end came from a blonde.
Tori is exclusively invited to be on the first episode of this game show, but the people running it don’t know what she looks like?
Isn't Breakfast Club still on Netflix? If it's not, I suggest you go get either the DVD or Blu-Ray. It's a great 80s film.

Youre right shows need a balance of story and comedy. Not just depend on nonsense, weirdness, and wackyness. The shows dint have growth or good traits with the characters nowadays.

My biggest problem with this show is Trina why? because she is obnoxious and mean. in my opinion Trina is the worst shniders bakery character i have ever seen she's worse than Mrs. Benson from iCarly
My least favorite is a tie between Piper from Henry Danger and Cat (Season 3 & 4) from Victorious

Well this is surprising. Not because it's Victorious/VicToasterPastry, but because I thought initially the Seddie arc was next and the reason why it took so long was because of pin-pointing exactly what was wrong in the five episodes. Good review that I agree with, though.
Keep on reviewing these shows because this is the result of what nick is now today and Schneiders shows have been the most popular live action shows on nick for the past how many years. I dont even know when it wasnt come to think of it.

I watched a lot of the first season of Victorious, and it was alright. Not as funny as Drake and Josh or iCarly, though. This is too bad because I normally really like game show episodes, but this sounds like something that would just annoy me. Oh well, I'm glad the joke before WAS just a joke and that you did review an episode of Victorious.
(Btw, despite my feelings on the show, there are two things I really like about it: The theme song is REALLY catchy, probably just me, but I still get it in my head a lot. Also, the one early episode with Robbie's grandma trying to use the computer mouse by waving it in the air...that had me rolling on the floor laughing and is probably the thing I remember most about this show.)

Jade and the boys all got exactly what they deserved. Cat and Trina were annoying so they got what they deserved in my view. Sinjin is just punished on principle and most of it happens offscreen so that didn't bother me too much. Plus, when the toilet does fall on him by accident, it happens at an unexpected moment and right before he was about to give what I believe was probably the correct answer to a question he clearly knew the answer too.
The opposite of this for Bizarro Bakery should be Smart Girl from Drake and Josh
this is actually one of my favorite Victorious episodes, i liked the gameshow portion. Jade having a car battery fall on here was the best part by far.

the thing is, I was just shocked by how sadistic the episode is. I kept wincing and flinching when all the painful things kept happening to the cast. I have zero tolerance of pain and all of the shit that happened to them made me so uncomfortable.

I’d agree with you that the first and second Doink would have been enjoyable, but it got completely dark when Trina said she was bleeding and Robbie couldn’t see out his right eye. It pretty much set the tone for how ugly the rest of the episode would be.

Nice review/rant. I'm a huge fan of Victorious and I gotta say this is my least favorite. The first time that I saw this episode I was cringing for most of if not all the episode. To me this episode was just an unfair character torture porn. No character was safe it seemed. Heck even Jade didn't deserve having a car battery dropped on her head. If Jade's punishment was less realistic and more comical I might've enjoyed it a bit more. But to me it's like everything that fans loved about this show was thrown out in this episode in favor of making something that the "kids" would like.
Jade did deserve punishment. She comment fraud by falsely IDing herself as Tori. Which NONE of her friends (or Trina) bothered to defend her. There's other bad episodes I find worse than this one

All of these episodes are either Tori Torture Episodes. Or they are just plained mean-spirited with their endings, premises or the characters are unlikable on both sides.
To each their own I guess. Me personally I love the show. And yes I do think Jade deserves punishment but in a way that doesn't make me cringe. There are just other episodes that punish her better. Brain Squeezers was just an absolute mess.

Jade's likability varies in my opinion. Most of the time their "friendship" episodes don't mean anything when episodes after that Jade goes back to being spiteful and outright psychopathic to Tori. In Season 1 Jade was likable. (The only exception being Stage Fight) To be fair Jade was arguably the most interesting character and dare I say favorite in Season 1. She was more of a Sarcastic starker with hidden depth. Come Season 2 onward (minus a few exceptions in Season 4 such as Star Spangled Tori) she became a petty, unlikable spiteful, possessive and hypocritical Jerkass.
Yeah she had her team-up moments with Tori, but like I said it varies, so the lack of consistency hurts the episode in my opinion. Plus there were other episodes that were made to have Jade be sympathetic but failed. The episode *Worst Couple* is a perfect example. The writers want you to feel sorry for Jade that Beck broke up with her, but it's hard to actually do that when she acts like a spiteful bitch to everyone. Giving a "Reason You Suck" Speech to her so-called friends (basically admitting none of them are her friends) and breaking Sinjin's leg by RUNNING OVER HIS LEGS WITH A CAR! She basically cripples Sinjin for no reason other than to be a spiteful Jerkass. make the audience cheer for her misery rather than feel sorry for it.
There's also a lot of Terrible episodes from Victorious that are Bottom of the Bakery Worthy

THANK YOU for doing this one. Even though I actually overall liked Victorious, I always despised this episode.
I...actually kind of think this episode is a marvel. I don't like the very end at all with his Tori loses and that first half is painful to get through but that second half is so frigging insane that it actually kind of makes it worth it. Plus, it was fun to see everyone but Tori get what they deserved in the show.

This is an ironic video to comment this on, Victorious is actually really underrated. It’s obviously not perfect, but I definitely like it. It’s no Drake & Josh or anything, but I’m happy with it. Especially in the first two seasons. It’s one of my top three Schneider’s Bakery, along with #1 Drake & Josh and #2 iCarly. But yes, Brain Squeezers isn’t a very good episode at all

Hear me out, the stupid game show here's how it should have worked to save the episode. Also, I want a little bit of help for Tori's team so at the beginning they're being made fun of for these random fun facts that they know. So Tori and her teammates who have already been made fun of for being stupid although they've been trying to give everyone fun facts the whole episode are now against Jade's team. The way the game show works is they ask a question and whichever team rings in the answer first gets to decide what's dropped on the other person's head. And there you go! They get to drop things on people's head and there's the competition again and Tori has a reason to win and it's justified because the other team is jerk faces

I hated this episode, too. It's just an everybody torture porn. Wonder if next will be The Breakfast Bunch or Crazy Ponnie. And btw, Regular Show did a parody episode of The Breakfast Club and it's really funny and a lot better written than The Breakfast Bunch. And at least they don't force characters to change to fit the means of the jokes.
Not really. Jade, Andre and Beck deserved their punishments. Another reason I hated this episode was the logic of how Tori chose her friends. She chooses Beck, Andre and Robbie because Jade and Trina annoyed her. Yet the moment Tori gets to the studio and Jade goes there falsely IDing herself as Tori NONE of Tori's friends or even her sister bother to even back up. Like they never said anything, they never bothered to say Jade was committing fraud in Tori's name. They never called her out. Yet when all the random stuff happens to them in the game show all of them get mad at Tori for their misfortunes! This is another one of those instances where Jade is a petty and spiteful person.
I agree. And yes they all should have called Jade out on lying about her identity. But instead we get bickering, bang balls, and Cat being stupid enough to say that she is also Tori Vega. I would say the episode is half torture porn half not because of half of the characters deserving it, like when Jade got a car battery dropped on her head, she deserved that. Some goddamn friends Andre and Beck are. Btw fun fact, my cousin knows Matt Bennett, the guy who played Robbie. He grew up in the same neighborhood as her and disappeared one day. Turns out he disappeared because he was getting famous from being on Victorious. His page even says online that he grew up in Massapequa like my cousin did. She said he is exactly the same in real life of how he was on Victorious, just without Rex.
That's fine but I am saying Pieguyrulz probably wouldn't like that episode, knowing him. Crazy Ponnie is another episode most of the fans hated.

Victorious also has some good episodes. The Season 4 episode *Cell Block* is one episode I think is Bizzaro Bakery worthy. Though the ending could be considered Debatable and Forced.
