Stellar documentary!! So much great history involved over the decades. As a ( previous ) water box worker I can vouch for not only the coolest weekend gig out there, but also one of the friendliest and “like family” experience in the two lane race community. To many more decades to come and God Bless.

My family and I raced there for many years. Best track we ever raced at. Beautiful place and run like a fine Swiss watch.

Only got to attended one event at Byron the 2014 Meltdown Drags. We went home with the nickname Shit Starters. All because we were invited to attend with a 1967 Camaro nostalgia drag car. We met quite a few nice people, however we also met the cry babies that complained about the car

The minimum wage back then was $1.25 e hour. With Chicago only a couple of hours away that place is a gold mine.
