Hi guys! We hope this video was helpful to you! 💕 If any of the (overrated) products are your faves, that’s fantastic! They just weren’t the best in our humble opinion. Thank y’all so much for watching! 💋
Yep. I went on accutane for 9 months…. Now have amazing skin and skincare was optional for like 2 years. Now i need it sgain to prevent getting 1-2 pimples a month around period….but i generally have skin thats texture and pimple free. And for hyperpigmentation…wore sunscreen while on accutane… got in habit of always weating it… now have no hyperpigmentation
I know it's a product video, but I can't help noticing Kendra's skin is giving a beautiful no makeup/makeup look right now and would love to see a get ready with me or makeup/skin care video where she shows her technique.
I really enjoyed this video I love that y’all included alternatives this really helps so much I always trust y’all’s recommendations I loved this so much!!!💕💕
Oh my God please do more of these! This was EXTREMELY helpful and appreciated. I’m sure there will be many more overrated products for you guys to review lol ❤️
K18 really is ground breaking. I have coily hair and i use 4 pumps. Within a year, it helped me retain so much length, i never tried their oil though, i don't know about that
@@kriseme4734 After using K18, i wear my hair curly most of the time as i rarely use heat on my hair. Lately, i've been using a hair mask or a rinse out conditioner after i apply the K18 mask and let it sit for at least 4 mins (the brand says it's ok)
I love both the k18 and the curlsmith bond repair! I have used the Shea moisture mask for years, but as of lately I’m not loving it so much for my hair anymore, but will still use it if I’m out of my holy grail conditioners.
Finally someone talking about Rhode and how it wasn’t great. I had the same exact experience. Y’all really need to look into prequel skincare. Extremely affordable and great quality.
The Camille rose rosemary daily mist has really been great to my hair. I just had to buy two more at Walmart but it’s better than any refresher spray I’ve tried especially because my hair doesn’t tend to like refresher sprays
That Camille Rose Black Castor Oil & Chebe deep conditioner Kendra recently recommended is soooo good. Love love love. Haven’t had a good deep conditioner in a while.
Hi Kendra and Kelsey I use the same hair mask from shea moisture I absolutely love it for my hair they also have a new one out that I want to get my hands on. Love your video❤❤❤
@10:25: $57.00 for a hair mask is crazy. People usually spend big bucks on products because they’re either trying to correct a problem or repair damage. But like Mama used to say, “An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.” If you take really good care of your hair and learn to prevent and avoid damage, there’ll be no need to spend a ton of money on “treatments”. Normal products of good quality will be all you need. Let’s be honest, hair damage isn’t really repairable anyway. My favorite hair mask is the Shea Moisture Jamaican Black Castor Oil Strengthen & Restore Treatment Masque. For context, I went on a hair health and growth journey in the summer of 2016. By late 2019 I was tailbone length. I am now at a denser-than-ever healthy hip length and have never done so much as a protein treatment. Be super gentle with your hair and remember, oil is your hair’s best friend. 🥥
I have to disagree about the K18. Understand the amount issue for large amounts of hair. But it really made a huge difference. My stylist remarked without even knowing I used it. And you def don’t need more than they say you do. I haven’t finished the bottle but my hair is fine and not dense
Yea I disagree about K18 as well. Yes it’s pricey but it has done wonders for my natural medium/thick 3c-4a hip length hair and I don’t use heat (don’t use blow dryer not even on a cool setting and don’t use any heat styling tools: curling iron, straighteners). We tend to be heavy handed but if you follow the product’s instructions you’ll see it can go a long way. The product isn’t runny it comes out creamy and it has no scent (well to me it doesn’t I know some people are sensitive to scent). The ingredients, technology behind k18 and what’s it intended are not in comparison to Curlsmith. Although curlsmith is a good product it’s a protein based product marketed as bond repair. Proteins are essential and good for the hair but remember proteins are temporary fixes to damage. Bond repair products such as k18 are created to fix the existing damage and prevent future damage. I’ve tried Curlsmith and it work well but k18 blew it out the water. Both good products but work 2 completely different ways.
Same. K18 works for me too. I’ve seen people not follow product instructions and then say a product doesn’t work for them. Like I don’t put conditioner in my hair before using a hair mask/deep conditioner. I see lots of people doing that when the instructions usually say “…apply after SHAMPOOING…” Not every product will work for everyone.
Video was very helpful ladies!!! I saw curlsmith bond treatment, multi-tasking conditioner, hydro creme soothing mask in my local Marshall’s in GA for $12.99 each an core strength shampoo was $24 for the 32oz bottle, I thought about Kendra and will be giving it all a try on a budget 😊 and Kelsey the Shea moisture masks are always $5.99-$7.99.
TFS!!!!!! Hey sis I love your MJ camo tote bag. I do like the camo print and I couldn't decide which color I wanted but I think I may get this one. I busted out laughing when you said I can barely remember my kids name🤣🤣🤣🤣. Enjoy your carry💚💚💚💚
I haven’t used SheaMoisture Hydration Manuka Honey Masque since when I had medium porosity hair. So I might have to revisit it for my high porosity hair. I’ve been eyeing that amika mega moisture mask on Sephora so I might try it. I want to try k18 on Sephora too. My hair loves Curlsmith products including the Bond Curl Rehab Salve.
GREAT REVIEW TWIN SISTERS! Thank you for sharing. I always wondered about the La Mer product. For the price, I better have a spectacular face. The K18 is extremely expensive; however, for all the products you mentioned, if they work and you have the money, go for it. I like the alternatives you mentioned which does the same thing for way!!!!!!!!!!! less.
I have tried the adwoa beauty blue tansy and I love it, I also purchased the Baomint but haven't tried it yet, can't wait tho.. thanks for the options on the skin care definitely gonna try some of your recommends 😍😘😘 Blessings 🙏🏾
Ill never forget the first time I tried Shea Moisture Manuka Honey &Mafura Oil Hair Mask. I ran to the store that night and bought every bottle they had.
I was highly upset with the bond treatment and camille rose honey hydrate, because it damaged patches in the front of my hair. But I dont use silicones so i tried to cleanse it out with ouai clarifying shampoo. Well now i cut a carrot top,😅 and il trying to cover it but them strands weak. I'll try to redkin one.
Totally agree about Armani luminous silk, La Mer and K18. I accidentally bought 2 Armani bottles! Lawd. You need very dry skin, I looked like a glo worm lol. Also it oxidizes horribly on brown skin. I splurged on K18. I have 3c/4a blonde long curly hair. Chile everything you said was true lol. I used damn near the whole bottle, even w emulsifying it in my hands for a full 5 min based on recommendation to make it thicker. It was still like water and did absolutely nothing. I’ll use up that lil bottle soon and try Curl Rehab bond repair. I have an OG product to use up first. It’s an extreme damage conditioner from Matrix that remains the goat. Before all the bond repair products, that’s what we used and has kept my hair on my head and growing despite being bleached the last 8 yrs that I’ve been blonde. I want my money back for both Armani & K18.
I will keep buying K18 😂! I have thick kinky coily, color treated hair and definitely see a difference. You don't need a lot of it, I use 4 - 5 pumps in just as many sections- no more. It's important to emulsify it in between your hands and thoroughly distribute it between your hair and leave it on for those 4 minutes. If you are protein sensitive I do NOT recommend the Curl Bond product. It doesn't truly have the bonding ingredients that support the inner bonds/inner hair shaft like Olaplex or K18, but is mostly protein based (citric acid the bonding ingredient is all the way at the end of the ingredients list). All the other suggestions I can rock with!
One thing I can definitely say is I have learned a lot from the two of you about skin care I never had a skim problem but my teen age daughter does I bought her products that you have recommended and it definitely helped her your girls are so knowledgeable and I trust y’all that I purchase what you recommend from food and candles and skin care I love you guys never change 🍷💯🙏🏾💜
I haven’t watched the video yet but I am responding to the thumbnail. lol If y’all are going to say that k18 is overrated then that is whole lie, and you are not following the instructions. I stand on that, ten toes down. Now, I’m going to watch the video and delete my comment if I’m wrong.😂
@@ramcess6075 Yes! I sure did and WTF do you care!!? And for the record, that’s a rhetorical question IDGAF about your worthless opinion. Worry about YOU.

Please don't tell me to save my money. I buy what I want!!!
Before anyone spends three figures on skin care, it would probably be more advantageous to go see a dermatologist
1000% and it’s often cheaper.
Makes a bunch of sense to me!
Yep. I went on accutane for 9 months…. Now have amazing skin and skincare was optional for like 2 years. I think Sephora should have a sample size purchase before you buy the expensive thing
PLease tell me that there is a part 2, because there are so many products out there that are not worth the hype.
FYI the sequel- The Shea Moisture 24oz pump container Manuka Honey Shampoo and Conditioner is $9.99 at Burlington when you can find it😊.
I know it's a product video, but I can't help noticing Kendra's skin is giving a beautiful no makeup/makeup look right now and would love to see a get ready with me or makeup/skin care video where she shows her technique.
I was thinking the same thing about Kelsey. Her skin is looking so smooth.
Both of their skin is glowing!! They’ve come a long way with the skin game and hair game!!

They shea moisture mask is forever da Bomb! Use it with heat for 15 mins and my gosh it’s the best moisture/Protien balancer. Been using for years !
K18 really is ground breaking. I have coily hair and i use 4 pumps. Within a year, it helped me retain so much length, i never tried their oil though, i don't know about that
Hi, do you wear your hair curly or blow dry it straight after using the k18?
@@kriseme4734 After using K18, i wear my hair curly most of the time as i rarely use heat on my hair. Lately, i've been using a hair mask or a rinse out conditioner after i apply the K18 mask and let it sit for at least 4 mins (the brand says it's ok)

Love this video! Everyone’s opinion is different but it’s good to see what doesn’t work for you… I would never spend over $100 on skincare 😅
Love this!!! ELF Cosmetics hydro concealers are way better than Tarte. I've been using The Ordinary skin serums for 4 years...very affordable 🙌🏾
@13:09 so I have the orange container does the blue one help with dry grey hair better ?
I have dry skin. I have the armani and charlotte options you mentioned. I prefer the armani and the shade is way better for me in armani.
