Play it at double speed then you will be on the edge of your seat around those corners!! VCC Clark is well out in the sticks but don't they have plans to extend that line? I do like the use of existing transport corridors to place that line. How many dollars does it cost to ride that line?
Going from VCC-Clark to Lafarge is three zones, so a compass ticket is about $6. If you do ride transit fairly often, you can always get a Compass Card for only $6 and has cheaper prices per trip ($4.5 for a three-zone journey I think). They're planning an extension from VCC-Clark out west along the Broadway corridor, expected completion is 2025.
The MK1s usually aren't on the M-Line, but this was an exception. TransLink usually shuffles train assignments when there's extreme weather events - this happened in late June 2021 during the heatwave. Some of the regular white MK2 cars had issues, so the MK1s were put on the M-Line to fill in the service gaps.
i love the mark1 skytrains but what i love most is the sound they make lol
You're not alone!
not at all
They sound like the London underground lol
35:36 and 35:44--these are the stub tracks of the spur line that will one day run to Port Coquitlam.
Mk1s are my favorite skytrains i love to ride mk1s on skytrain
Thank you
Horrible day to be taking the SkyTrain, especially because it was 33°C at the time.
