I wouldn't mind maybe the AquaRangers or WhiteRanger. Keep it MMPR since thats the games premise. People are gonna want too much from this simple idea & go beyond the scope of the games point. If gonna include every Ranger team then might as well be a diff game tbh. Give a lore reason why all the teams gather, maybe sort of a ShatteredGrid type game with all teams unlockable?
First time I've played the game I didn't really enjoy it. The movement was so slow and the rangers feels so stiff. Now with the new update I would really want to try the game again.
In addition to adding 5-player drop in and drop out online co-op, an arcade mode without the stage select map, the story text and the collectables would be welcome.
All the complaints I've been seeing are people who just suck at the game. I had 0 complaints during my play through. It was fun, challenging, and nostalgic.
I wish they put that love towards the Xbox beat em up. It looked fun, but it was lambasted. It would have been great to see the improvements and expanded to other systems
Added stages should be in their plans. 5 is not enough. Maybe differentiate the Rangers, in how they attack, as well (though that might be a stretch...).
They already do. If you mean like each character has a different strategy or button combo, kindly keep your Mortal Kombat/Street Fighter~esque game design to yourself. Ain't no way in Hell I'm learning all that or choosing a color ranger based off STRATEGY instead of preference and cool-factor. The Super Smash Bros. style of streamlined design is perfection. This is a Power Rangers game, it doesn't need that.
@aheums16 That's not where I'm going. There is no need for a Hadouken input attack or whatever... We agree that it's Power Rangers Rita's Rewind, not The Tournament Edition. What I mean is something that is like what most Beat'em Ups have. Make each Rangers feel like they're different from each other, when attacking, instead of having the same punches and kicks, with the only difference being the weapons... Jason's stats would be right down the middle in terms of strength, speed, and special. Zach would be stronger but either slower (which would be ironic since his Hip Hop Kido is his thing) or with a weaker special (which I think would most likely be the outcome). Trini, Kimberly, and Billy would have weaker strength, but Trini would be the fastest, Kimberly would have some long-range "strategy" (because of the bow), and Billy would have the best special attack. As for Tommy, once you unlock him, since everyone wants to play as him, have max stats but make the game harder.
@@EnvyDSin Ah! Totally different. It's an interesting idea and I get it, but playing this game it seems self-evident that it is a lot more fun playing with friends, and is actually balanced for more than one player at a time. The way it is now makes it an even playing field for everyone jumping in, and selecting your ranger isn't based on stats but pure preference. Like people in Mario Kart choose Toad because of his stats, not just because he's adorable. But people in Mario Kart still choose whatever character they want regardless. . I see the point, but I still think it's better without it. Thank you for the clarification, I've read other comments like this and I don't want to see a good thing ruined. It's nice to know it isn't the idea I thought it was. I'm actually not familiar with the genre. I don't play beat'em ups as they largely seem either boring to me or too much effort. Ghost of Tsushima is the kind of game I always wanted for combat, the ability to parry creates a real fight. If I want something like a beat'em up, I love Hyrule Warriors. River City Girls I actually found boring.
I'm still not a buy until they do something about the ranger move sets. No one wants just simple color palette swaps. Each character needs to feel like a unique playing experience otherwise whats even the point of having multiple characters?
What we need is a 5-6 online co op instead of 2 player online co op
The developers have stated that the 5-player online co-op would be added later after release. Perhaps in a month or so.
I wish the SNES games would get a re-release. I do hope there’s DLC eventually. Would love for a Lord Zedd campaign, or Ivan Ooze
They still need to add a free DLC because the game is still too short and they're no incentives for replays.
Not only that they should put continuous hardest and give us extra lives
It's just like how beat em ups were in the arcades. It isn't short. Maybe take a break and read a book stop complaining like a woman.
Call me old but the incentive to replay a game is because you enjoy it.
Salute to the devs for the quick update. I was stuck on the Eye boss Zord level. After the patch, I beat the game.
No they dont
I'm glad digital eclipse are really listening to their fans and trust me there will be improvements coming
It needs more beat em up stages.
It's Morphin Time 💚🖤💖💙💛❤️
In that order
go go samurai!
Play as any of the Ranger teams from MMPR to Cosmic Fury.

Give em time. I'm sure we will get a few new levels, and a White Ranger dlc pack!!!
Would be nice if the rangers had use of other special attacks to add more variety. Like use of weapons
I beat the game on normal before the update it was rough, but after the update it definitely felt more fun

I want the Zeo Team.
I need a true 5 to 6 players online coop for PS5 how its meant to be played
We need to be able to play the Mega Dragonzord as well
I need that White ranger DLC
MAN IM TRYING TO TELL YOU…SABA WHITE 🐅 ZORD…BATTLE MODE

Yeah i agree but i bought it for nostalgia and classic childhood games for my switch
sale as of 10JAN...not much but theres that if anyone wants to know
Did you make this video without playing the update...?
I wish they put that love towards the Xbox beat em up. It looked fun, but it was lambasted. It would have been great to see the improvements and expanded to other systems
It’s totally unplayable for me on the Switch. Pre-ordered it and it worked fine until just recently because it crashes at the player select screen.
I had to give it another try once the updated was mentioned still wish it was more
They need to update it on the switch.
The update came out on Switch on Christmas Eve.
That's fantastic news 😁

What's up
I cant even buy the game in my region (Japan) on steam
