Well, the main problem here, is that the guy is not as intelligent as the robot is. Probably, because of his alcoholism. As the result it is not the rational choice for anyone, that's creepy. The dude wasn't even capable to describe what is it to be a wife....
its kinda a sad premise. i honestly would respect it more if she never actually has emotions and he really is just deluding himself the whole show. he anthropomorphized a kitchen appliance basically.
It's annoying when people say this is sad. Sad is that people believe human relationships would automatically be better and archiveable for everyone. This is just shaming language against the solution. But, it's going to happen anyways.
This one I'll pass, hard. I remember reading the mangá when this was new and I had to stop and try to forget. It felt "disturbing" for me. Stories like this aren't new, but the way it happened, the behavior of the protagonist, the look in his eyes... it was unbearably painful to watch for me. Anyway, at least I'll see what reactions it extracts from people now that the anime is out there.

The title alone turns me off from even watching it.
Why?
Well, the main problem here, is that the guy is not as intelligent as the robot is. Probably, because of his alcoholism. As the result it is not the rational choice for anyone, that's creepy. The dude wasn't even capable to describe what is it to be a wife....
Yeah, that guy is dumb. But his sister is probably even dumber.
It's a good choice.
its kinda a sad premise. i honestly would respect it more if she never actually has emotions and he really is just deluding himself the whole show. he anthropomorphized a kitchen appliance basically.
I did read about the man who tried to legally marry his fridge IRL. The robot at least is shaped like a girl, have a good-looking face and can talk.
It's annoying when people say this is sad. Sad is that people believe human relationships would automatically be better and archiveable for everyone. This is just shaming language against the solution. But, it's going to happen anyways.
@@NoidoDev it is sad that things have gotten so bad that we are going to turn to machines to simulate human connections. The unibomber was right
Whenever I see an anime about one character falling in love with a robot, I lose interest.
Strange.
I know that there are probably "some good parts" in this, but doesn't matter, the if I can't stand the "bad" parts.
Anyway, at least I'll see what reactions it extracts from people now that the anime is out there.
@@Tone_Of_Dials I used the word I thought better describes what I felt reading. I was "disturbed", "perturbed", with an uncomfortable "unease feeling", strong enough that made me stop.
@@deathdoorwhat made u disturbed about a man having a robot wife and wholesome stuff like that?
@@yuukianimates3318he probably thinks he's depressed and tried to find a solution
Is Robot waifu is creepy I happen will wanted it's AI is Lie.
Did you have a stroke?
I am skipping this anime for now. I have a hard time caring about a robot.
True, didn’t watch plastic memories for the exact reason, however if there’s any robot anime worth watching this season it would be ATRI
More for me 😊
@@SpectacureI watched the trailer of that. She looks or behaves nothing like a robot lol. The author just made a totally human child and called her robot 😂
This sentence already tells me WaLL-E & The Iron Giant never made your watch list.
This is not an airport you don't need to announce your departure sir the door is open.
