The G19 is actually more intermediate. 9mm itself isn’t a very good beginner round period but if you’re going to use a 9mm as a beginner I’d recommend something that’s hammer fired instead of striker fired. The single action of the hammer can really help people with terrible flinching problems.
@@durango8882 the G19 is small. Fits in any pocket. I carry mine literally everyday in every type of clothing. If you’re a midget I recommend the Glock 43x. It’s half the size of the Glock 19 and still chambered in 9mm. Just know the smaller the gun that’s chambered in 9mm the harder the recoil will be. 9mm needs a long barrel to stabilize the 124 grains that’s punching out of the barrel. The less barrel length the harder that punch is going to hit you.

He was trying to depress the slide release. The shaking stopped immediately after the slide dropped. Shooting is indeed enjoyable, but the excitement is more reserved for people who don't shoot. Talking to other people from my local range the general feeling they seem to have after a range day is that they feel relaxed. It's a chance to decompress, and not think about other stuff that might be troubling you.
Shouldn’t have adrenaline at an indoor range, and if you do I would highly suggest you never graduate to any bigger problems because you will not be able to handle them. If he was outside in the cold it’s fine this is a warm indoor range with zero stressors and he’s womblin around like no you should not be that shaky inside not even close.

I used to HATE Glocks or any other striker fired pistol. I just never saw the fascination. Having grown up with wheel guns and hammer fired semi autos I wasn't a fan. I started doing a lot of local trading and always ended up with a pair of Glocks hanging around. The damn things grew on me and I guess I've become a Glocktard. The simplicity and convenience of next to zero maintenance is unreal. Parts availability is insane and they work and keep working. 1911- pocket watch. Glock- Yard shovel.

Love glock 19 gen 5 iron sights, just a little light towards the sights and its so easy for the peripheral field of vision, i mean the white color being illumimated so good.
As an NRA instructor, I highly recommend during my CCW classes, to start with Glock 19 .. So simple , reliable, easy shooting, especially womans shooting for first time , find it so easy on recoil and aiming. Stronghold Firearms Shooting Training at Miami.
That’s how I was shaking my hands when I first shot my first ever gun which was an AR, it was just so loud in an indoor range compared to shooting it outside. Also I just felt like it was gonna explode in my hands every time I shot it
Naw the Kit Kat rack is inferior. The best way to rack is pulling straight back to your shoulder with the gun pointed down range. It decreases the time it would take to get your gun pointed at the target.
I pretty much like everything they've done from gen1-5 except for the handgrip. I really like that my gen one has finger grooves compared to my newer glocks.
