I’m going out on the grande on July 3rd, it’s posted as islands trip, hoping it stays that way. I would rather have my line in the water fishing at the islands rather than having a chance and could possibly drive around all day offshore. How was the barracuda and bass at the islands?
By buddy Brian is the same way. The San Diego canceled our Coronado trip for two years in a row. That's why we booked this trip. The barracuda and bass bite is good at the islands. We got a couple of barracuda in the lee of the South and they were logs. Good luck on your trip! Thanks for watching!
Oh wow, I guess you have to pay your dues. I’ve done that on many tuna trips. That’s why I prefer trips inshore to the islands. Way more action and beautiful scenery. Thanks for watching!
Yes, true but I’ve been traumatized by ling’s parasites. One time I looked in the mouth of one and saw three isopods staring back at me eeewwww. Makes me cringe just thinking about it!😂
@@fishermen22 your not eating the mouth and yellows are covered in worms way worse actually can live in you that’s why you freeze pelagic fish before eating raw or cooking
Well, Western Outdoor News set up the trip like that. We ended up getting there at 2 and just sit there until gray light. It was advertised as a jig fishing trip. I still had a great time. Thanks for watching!
That is the absolute best riding boat in the entire fleet.
Such a old school boat.
Nice day! Thanks for posting!
Thanks for watching! I had a blast! I miss the Coronados. I had many fond memories of those islands.
What size circle hooks where you using

Why did you throw that Ling back? So tasty. Fry it up in batter who cares about parasites if it’s cooked.
