Also feel like I was playing the drums.
Hopefully this makes people realize the only reason mouse players get good with tablet so quickly is previous experience with the game. You can legit do the same thing with tablet to mouse.

Since everyone is now fighting about mouseVtab . . . As someone who recently had experience with a tablet after using only mouse for a year, I can say tablet is easier to get used to and face new challenges with. I usually play only 5-6* these days and can say that a tablet would make a lot of this stuff easier since it allows more precision for less total movement. I know that probably sounds really weird and backwards but thats quite literally how i felt it worked when trying out a tab. I spent like 30 mins with my friends tab and i was soon almost back to doing 4* maps without RX on and I could do a 5* with RX. If i had my own tab and spent about a week with it, I'd most likely get caught up with myself on mouse. Of coarse the transition of skill is there but with the added help of easier learning curves it would make this game a lot better personally so i wouldn't be spending 4 weeks only 50pp away from fucking 2000pp, which is just pissing me off.
Mouse = True PC gamer. Touchpad/Trackpad = somewhat but okay Touchscreen = noob but kind of pro. Joystick = this is what SPARTA was. Trackball(?) = Oh my god.... LCD gun/Screen gun = MAHNN, YA NID JIJAS.
I'm a tablet player considering switching to mouse. My tablet style takes too much wrist, don't want RSI. I naturally use my forearm with mouse as well so I think it'll be less strain.
alright here's how it works. I used the mouse for half a year and it felt so small then i switched to pen tablet for half a year then i switched back to mouse and holy fucking shit my mouse felt so big when i started playing osu after 6 months of using a pentablet
Even tho I ike the idea of playing on a tablet I will always pick a mouse over a tablet. Reason being I'm an idiot and would always drag instead of... using it properly so it wouldn't make that much of a difference... The only thing I'd ever do with a tablet on osu would be for fun but I still love the idea of playing on both. (:thinking: I think I want to actually play on both!)

if you are making full transition to mouse get a bigger mouse mat and a mouse that works for your hand (measurements) so that it's all a lot better but regardless all that matters is if you are enjoying the game again
I have a hard time with mouse because I'm left handed and i use my right hand for my mouse. I use my left hand for my tablet and I'm good with that, but I'd like to be better with mouse. The only thing i really struggle with is spinners
You can get just as good with mouse, however the learning curve is a lot steeper due to absoloute positoning on tablet giving you a musccle memory advantage. It is easier to improve with tablet. Mouse drift is a bitch.

Kwickie Mouse drift can be easily dealt with over a period of time using mouse. As of now just learn how to move a mouse properly and set your sensitivity to your preference. Remember super high dpi does not make you faster
Kwickie also for mouse drift, make sure you have a little habit in adjusting your grip during slow sliders, repeat sliders, and small breaks. It helps a lot. However this can also become too much of a habit and you may shit miss in really easy parts when trying to adjust midway. Takes practice

Switching from mouse to tablet was pretty awkward for me. I'm left handed, but have always used mice with my right hand. I write with my left hand, so trying to use the tablet with my right hand would have been a trainwreck. So, I had to switch tapping hands. So, at first, not only did my aim go down a bit, but my tapling skill (especially streaming) tanked. It was a fun experience, though. My streaming is still recovering, but my aim is much better. Still can't hit those triplets like I used to. Practice makes perfect, I guess.
