      Yes I was trying to think the best way to give that away, I was considering the person who pulled the most Grey wolves or something like that 😊

    It is exactly 5000 dust to get 1 of each of the promo cards they currently have. Not sure which one I want to grab. I have just enough dust to grab either the Sorc or the Pudge but honestly im more keen on the rubble tokens and the Card sized foot soldiers. Color out of Space is also nice but sadly ill probably never manage enough dust to afford that before it gets sold out.

      @@PhilosopherCards Its really hard to say honestly. When you think about how the life time limit on your account is 1 per. Even if you are a brick n mortar LGS that cracked hundreds of boxes for your business, the vast amount of dust you collected cant be used by you to obtain multiple selections of the same promo over and over again. This is likely to prevent accruement of a particular promo for resale. Rather the dust store rewards seem targeted at collectors and enthusiasts of the game, which honestly, is what it should be.

    • @PhilosopherCards
      @PhilosopherCards  8 месяцев назад

      Yeah I'm a fan of the 1 limit for sure

    I had exactly 1800 dust, but opted to get waypoint portal, sorcerer, and pudge butcher. I hope I don't beat myself up for not getting The colour out of space. I might try buying dust points from someone because i really want it

    • @PhilosopherCards
      @PhilosopherCards  8 месяцев назад

      You might be the smart one - less population of folks getting those

  • @magusofthebargain

    The Alpha boxes sold out fast. Turns out the price on those was a little low at 12000 dust. I have a feeling they would have sold out at 120000 dust.

    • @PhilosopherCards
      @PhilosopherCards  8 месяцев назад

      That tied dust to a dollar value, and I think it's under valued significantly. Dust may be worth 30$ per 100 dust OR MORE

    • @magusofthebargain
      @magusofthebargain 8 месяцев назад

      @@PhilosopherCards I am of the opinion that dust is worth $13.33 per 100 dust. If an Alpha box is worth $1,600 or 12000 dust, 1600/120 = $13.33 for 100 dust. 1500/120 = $12.50 for 100 dust. 2000/120 = $16.66 for 100 dust, so yes, I think it is fair to buy and sell dust codes for between $12.50 and $17. I'm currently in the market to buy at $12.50 and sell at $17. That's the dust spread.

    • @magusofthebargain
      @magusofthebargain 8 месяцев назад

      also, I would snap buy a pack of Alpha for 400 dust, and I'm sure people would spend 500 dust on a booster pack of Alpha. 100 dust for 2 packs of Beta would be fair too. Maybe they could even sell 3 packs of Beta on the dust rewards site for 100 dust if you factor in shipping.

    • @PhilosopherCards
      @PhilosopherCards  8 месяцев назад

      Interesting thoughts on buying packs with dust too - I think given the speed at which the alpha box sold out - dust may be undervalued might be closer to the 20-30 dollars per 100 but your math totally makes sense if the alpha box was priced appropriately

  • @TheExperienceShare

    I opened 2 boxes and played in a few tournaments so I had 540 dust. I think the system seems fair but i hope there is a lot of the promos so I can try to pick them up over over time.

    • @PhilosopherCards
      @PhilosopherCards  8 месяцев назад

      I would think it would be crazy for them to go out of stock so fast!

  • @Rufioforever
    @Rufioforever 8 месяцев назад

    I totally agree. I think the dust rewards are a little too high. If each box gives you 100 dust, minimum you have to open two boxes to obtain a reward (Pudge Butcher). So essentially $500+.
    I’ve only opened one box, I ordered another one this week. So only 200 dust. I’d love The Colour Out Of Space promo foil, but 18 boxes?! That’s a lot IMO. So for now just going to save the dust until future sets 🤷‍♂️
    Also sick curio pull!

    • @PhilosopherCards
      @PhilosopherCards  8 месяцев назад

      Thank you! Yes you need to crack approx 15,000 worth of product to get one of everything (including the hoodie) and that's before boxes hit 250! Now you need to crack 25k worth of product. But that means some of those things will be highly collectible

    • @Rufioforever
      @Rufioforever 8 месяцев назад

      @@PhilosopherCards Yeah agreed. At that point they are high end collectables. So in theory the Colour Out Of Space is a $4500+ card just to obtain it from the dust rewards. I'm not hitting that any time soon lol

    • @constantelevation5803
      @constantelevation5803 8 месяцев назад +1

      Yeah it’s nuts. I’ve opened 10 boxes of beta = 1000 dust.
      I pulled a sketch curio but couldn’t afford color out of space.
      Promo foil cards are harder to get than curios for me!!
