dna was really tae's era i still can't get over his deep voice in the intro/bridge and his silver hair with the grey lenses and dangly earrings and i also love how much fun he has with this song (they all do) you can watch his fancams from their love yourself tour for this song and he always does something different it's so interesting, also in that ptd performance believe he was dancing behind jungkook because he's supposed to be standing with jin but since jin wasn't doing the choreo, he danced instead of standing alone
In the dance practice when we get to the "Oh, snap!" part, did you notice Suga on the right in white? He's an awesome dancer now that he's recovered from his shoulder surgery and actually gotten into the dancing (which he said he never wanted to do!). He also did a song with J-Hope (their duo was named SOPE) during which they danced in synchro ~ amazing moves and Suga was right there with Hobi. They even had a dance competition ~ not sure if it was part of a. Run BTS segment, but Suga brought game and competed with J-Hope. The other members were blown away!💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Yes..DNA was Taehyung aka V era..This song suits his voice..V always performs this song well LIVE but during this concert..V was tending to injured Jin and missing some dance parts with Jin because Jin was in the chair..so more improvised stuff..lol..DNA is a really catchy song..😍😍

Kookie's smile is always so pure, it never fails to make me smile too, it just warms my heart. Also the way they interact on stage with a member who is injured to cheer them up, they are too wholesome

DNA era Taehyung is what made me ARMY. I love him so much, my bias.
I find Tae particularly mesmerising to watch because his performance always has these original little touches he adds in the moment because he's so very spontaneous. It makes him an amazing performer and incredibly entertaining to watch, both him and Hobi have that quality in spades, I think.
if u watch v singularity live in differents performance u will be amazed bcoz every stage he does differents attitude u cant be bored watching him over and over again in a same sing coz he likes to add something that u will be amazed

Serendipity and DNA were on the same album LY: Her. Serendipity is the intro and DNA is the title track and it's the beginning of the LY trilogy that's why it has that innocence of thinking that two people are meant to be together and that no one can separate them.
Also, another fact, they've actually debuted in US TV with DNA and they performed it at the 2017 AMA's. Four years later, they've won Artist of the Year at the 2021 AMA's 🥹👏

I think the difference between the two performances are 1) the stakes and 2) the audience. In the first performance, they were basically debuting BTS as well as kpop and Korean music to the general public. They needed to be well rehearsed and on point to make a good impression and represent well. They had a lot riding on that in terms of establishing a reputation among general audiences, many of whom didn't come to see them specifically. They were just another act that many of them would be seeing for the first time. Not even getting into the racism and xenophobia they were facing from the public in that era with many people discovering them and kpop for the first time. There wasn't room to be themselves and do whatever they wanted. Like anyone who is considered the first to do something while representing your race or country, if you're not great at it then everyone who comes after you will be judged by extension. If their performance had flopped, American audiences would have said that kpop is trash and bash other based on them.
As opposed to the PTD stage where everyone who came were likely ARMY who attended solely to see BTS. There's an existing relationship and understanding between them and us. We know their personalities enough that nothing they did would be a huge surprise and we can roll with any random shenanigans they do on stage. They can improvise and change things up, show off their chemistry and charisma and it will all be welcomed happily. We all have also seen them perfrom DNA so many times that having something fresh and new added is okay because we know what the standard stage is meant to look like so new stuff is more than fine. It's interesting seeing the full timeline of DNA performances to see what was at stake at first vs after.

Hobi’s footwork here is crazy!
All of them accept v dont believe in reinkarnation and such thinks i think they said this in interviu when they answered questions. Tae also believes in angels, but we dont know his religion. And rm in blue and grey lyrics said he is not believe in god (sorry for mistakes english my third language, im still learning).

Hi, I am back. Good reaction, ty. JK did the whistle for it. They mentioned it somewhere interview or behind the scenes i can't remember were. Sorry. This one is more pop compared to their previous songs. This song got them noticed in USA! They got invited to interviews here and they performed this one here as well. Appreciate u watching the live stages. DNA is a bop for sure. Glad u checked out the dance practice. Seeing the whole choreo is so cool. They are fab!!! By the way the their DNA chain dance move was used by another dance crew in World of Dance. When I saw this MV i was blown away. 0.0 i was like wait wait i know that move, lol. Another reactor thought this song was not deep. But their love for Army is dang deep to us army. Like they saying they are our soulmates and they are each other soulmates!!! Gosh i can't i am mush! They so sweet! We just got a demo version of this song on their new anthology album Proof it's sung by one of the members and i hear it's very different than this one. I am excited to hear it. They slay in any genre. To me it's we are all connected by DNA. That army and BTS are connected. It's a beautiful thing this bond. The arm choreo is just them pointing to the DNA inside us. You know how there is some controversy around their 3 English songs and how western-targeted they are? Believe it or not, DNA was the first that stood out as targeted to appeal to the western market. They debuted it live at the 2017 AMAs and it had a mixed reception with ARMY's. It's so weird to look back at that time!
