I don’t usually comment, but add the action “return to Home Screen” as the last action of your routine this way you don’t stay in the shortcuts app. Also, thank you so much for this as it is really helpful for my use case

Great job. With this I’ll create 2 folders and a shortcut saving automatically for each one. I’ll have one personal and one for joint expenses with my wife. Then I’ll share that folder with iOS collaborate function. That way she can also have her shortcut pointed to the same folder. Also I’ll just “name” each scan with the amount of the scanned receipt. Then I’ll just have to move receipts into sub folders by month once a month.

Why didn’t you have the shortcut ask what sub directory to save it to? Should be able to do it so you can pick from a list.
